It seems almost Not worth writing another stellar review for a kimpton property. But this Wonderful boutique hotel in New York is a little bit special even among all the special properties. The staff is stellar and sophisticated and seasoned. The concierge is top notch...More
Normally I hold off reviewing until I have checked out, but this hotel and its staff serve immediate kudos. First the check and concierge and my apologies for not remembering your name but how considerate and accommodating we checked in yesterday early as my son...More

Thank you for the wonderful review! It means much more when you take your time to provide us this wonderful feedback. I am definitely sharing this with our staff at L'Amico and the spa! We hope to see you real soon !
I have historically used IHG hotels, and now that Kimpton is part of the portfolio, I decided to give them a try when visiting New York.
This hotel has several lovely touches, but there are other areas where the experience just does not live up...More
i've traveled the planet and i've been a kimpton in-touch member since the chain's founding. i feared the recent acquisition would kill the brand. my employer is sponsoring a big, week-long event here at the eventi. we host events all over the world. upon check...More
I was there for a business conference. The facility was excellent. The room itself was old but updated. The bed was very comfortable. It took about 10-15 mins to get to Times Square so very convenient. Lots of pets. Room service was expensive but I...More

Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s jewels when it comes to neighbourhood life. The contemporary art scene is an integral part of the neighbourhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost every night of the week and countless exhibits to explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York
City, it’s also a diverse district with a vibrant nightlife scene. The opening of the High Line, an abandoned elevated train track transformed into a world-class pedestrian park, gave this neighbourhood new life as a tourist destination. The High Line provides visitors with a tranquil, elevated space with incomparable views, providing an unparalleled way to experience the city.

I used to live in NYC and travel back there at least once a year. The Eventi is an ideal location. It is literally a block to the subway and near 2 major subway lines: Broadway (1/2/3) which will take you to upper west side and down to Greenwich village and N/R lines which can get you to the East side. Eventi is also very close to the Empire State Building. Would certainly stay there instead of Midtown East for ease of getting around.
It was hit and miss when we were there. Some days there were events on. It is not that big an area. I think there was some type of theatre room on that floor used by children. No pool and with that time of the year I'm... More
