The hotel has all basic facilities : good parking locations, vending machines, business center (1 pc), free wifi, free breakfast. The bathroom is compatible with most hotels this size. The room was clean, as well as the bed's sheets. The hotel is aging : televisions are still old big ones, and had a greenish color. The TV image quality was...

The service was good. Very helpfull. With recommending food, late arrived luggage was brought to room. Online incheck for flight, shuttlebus to airport. What I missed was room in the bathroom to put stuff on. A toiletcover would already be helpfull. The towels were too small. I was there with my teenage daughter. Next time I would choose a hotel...

Hotel was in China town which was not the cleanest or safest at night. However the hotel was walking distance to Wall Street and World Trade Center as well as the subways. Added bonus was the Asian buns for breakfast in the tea room and cheap Asian food in the area.

First, this is not a Hotel is a Motel. They do not use mattress, they only use the box spring with a blanket over it. It's like sleeping on a table with sheets. I have no problems with noise, but there is a train station right in front of the hotel. and works 24 hours. The heating does not work....

I was a bit cautious about quality of the beds in this hotel after reading other reviews but found the beds adequate and definitely not too hard as indicated. This hotel caters mostly for the Chinese community. The rooms were clean and the lady tidying up the rooms, Hau, was not only very efficient but also honest as she found...

If you´re only looking for a place to crash and don´t plan on staying in your room too much then this is a superb choice. Dead cheap, dead clean and fairly central. Close proximity to metro station, safe area, tv, free coffee. Small bedroom but big bathroom. Room was cleaned daily and sheets changed every other day. Brilliant find.

if you take this hotel as a building with staff, i guess it is ok...good sized rooms, clean bathrooms and fairly friendly staff. however, the location is extremely bad. it is located right opposite the approach to the bridge, which is a steel structure, and the metro trains rattle across every 2 minutes or so. i asked for a room...

However the Mayor Hotel still benefits from the renovation that ABV did a few years back. The rooms are clean, the bathrooms fixtures are relatively new, and all the rooms are equipped with cable and flat screen TV's. The location is in the lower East Side in the heart of Chinatown. Proximity to Little Italy is very convenient. The neighborhood...

Our flight landed in New York in the morning, several hours before checkin. The staff was helpful in getting our room ready quickly. The room was large by New York standards and everything was in good condition. Chinatown is very working class and a bit dirty, but we enjoyed our stay there. There were plenty of place to get food...

I stayed here only for one night and my friend booked the room. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. Not that noisy as other reviewers said. At least I had a good sleep.

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where many Chinatown residents exercise, play games, and chat the day away.
