I consider myself to be a pretty seasoned traveller, and have been to NYC about twice a year for the past ten-fifteen years, so I believe I have seen quite a number of hotels in the city. I was excited about staying at the Radio...More
Great place to stay. Clean, reasonable rates and great location. Get an apartment with a kitchen. Cost a little extra but rooms are bigger. Stop in for happy hour from 4-8 for 1/2 price drinks next door at Pasta Lovers.
We booked these apartments because I remembered some good reviews from a couple of years ago, and compared to a lot of other accommodation, the price was great. We didn't need an apartment at all, but booked due to the good value. The price is...More
The room reeked of cigarette smoke and badly needed an overhaul. I asked for a non-smoking room and was told I would need to put $400 downpayment in order to get one. I looked at two other rooms which were not so badly smoke-filled but...More
We stayed in a one bedroom apartment for 5 nights in June 2011.

This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

There were chests of drawers and a rack to hang our coats on. We spent 9 nights there and then travelled for another 3 weeks. We were a family of 5 adults. The key to travelling is to use packing cells in your suitcase. They keep everything together neatly so you just find the cell you require instead of unpacking all together. There was a little bit of street noise but I think you would get that anywhere as your are in the city that never sleeps! No bathroom cupboard but if your a smart traveller utilise the bench top on the chest of drawers.
