Great location and price/quality was good. No gym. The kitchenware is in good condition but not very good quality. The ventilation unit outside was very loud and would need maintenance based on the sound. Friendly staff. Garbagemountain outside the entry for two days. Why leave it there?

If you have traveled extensively, this small hotel will have a familiar european feel for you. Everything is sparkling and clean but somewhat basic. The room we had was a deluxe studio, with two double beds and a new full kitchen for do-it-yourself snacks and breakfast. I grew up in NYC, so the slower elevator and dated hallways felt very...

We had a 1 bedroom apartment that had 2 double beds in the bedroom and a sofa bed n the lounge. Useful kitchenette area with fridge freezer, microwave & cooker. Great being able to have a coffee and breakfast before heading out for the day. Location was good for all the city sights, most within walking distance and subway close...

Stayed in a one bedroom apartment. Good price. Great place, clean, well stocked kitchen. Kettle could do with an upgrade. Nice and warm. Private. Friendly staff. Close to musical and restaurants. Pizza, Chinese and Japanese and Pasta. Food trucks just up the road. So no good coffee close! Subway on the corner Easy place to stay

Having read through many other reviews before our stay, I have the following observations: The elevators are small, but not as small or slow as the reviews led me to believe. Especially not after living in and traveling through a lot of Europe. Yes, our room was warm, but a quick call to the front desk took care of the...

We visited NYC on holiday and stayed here, we found the place quite dated but clean. It's winter but we have to contact the front desk to turn the heater on. I booked here because its was so close to everything. I wouldn't mind staying here again if I'm with my family again.

This hotel is in the heart of the bright lights where the people are active and busy. It's not too far from the television networks, like the Today Show, and Rockefeller's Square. It is a good shopping area for souvenirs and other unique stores that give you the edge in furnishings, clothing, music, and good TV tickets. The room is...

Our 2nd time at this hotel. Rooms are clean, plush, comfortable. Bathrooms are modern, with great showers. Walk out side and you are in the center of the restaurant /theater district. They also offer a nice parking arrangement with a lot around the corner, $25 per day. The prices for the rooms are very moderate for such a perfect location...

Family of 4 (mum, dad and 2 teenagers) from Australia stayed for 10 nights at start of January during a cold spell. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment (with 2 double beds) with a kitchen and separate lounge room. THE ROOM This is an old hotel so don't expect modern, slick design. It LOOKS a bit dowdy but it's...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
