There are 3 in our party who have spent a long weekend in NYC every year for over twenty years. This was our first stay at Chelsea Pines Inn. The location is great. The staff was friendly. They offer, in writing, to arrange airport transportation. We took advantage of the offer and were assured twice that arrangements had been made....

We chose this place for its location. Far enough away from touristy Midtown but close enough for transport links, restaurants etc. We got a taxi from Newark airport which took about 30/40 mins and cost with tips and toll about $70. We went back home via Penn station and was relatively pain free on the NJ transit. The location is...

Stayed for 2 nights in December 2016. Chose based on location and best rate we could find in the area. Pros - awesome location - right outside the 14th Street ACE subway, which connects directly with JFK airport and Penn Station; only 1 block from the heart of the Meat Packing District and the Chelsea Market. 15-20 min walk from...

Chelsea Pines Inn is one of those rare finds n NYC: a place where you immediately feel welcomed and at home. The staff bakes fresh morning sweet breads for the guests in addition to providing a satisfying breakfast of bagels, cheeses, meats and coffee or tea. Everyone who works there is kind, respectful and courteous. As someone who frequents a...

I love this hotel! The room was perfect. The location was perfect. The breakfast they offered was amazing (not to mention the baked goods that were on offer all day long) and the staff was the best ever. I will definitely stay here again.

Stayed two nights. Excellent location. Room clean with minimal dated furnishings. Bed just ok. Nice continental breakfast. Staff super friendly and helpful. A place to sleep not hang out in. Would stay again.

My girlfriend and I had an exceptional stay at this cozy, delightful inn. Clean and comfy rooms, excellent food, and above and beyond staff, all at a great price and a great location. Definitely recommended.

Stayed for one night. I'm used to NYC hotels being very expensive - this one was not in the same price range, but it didn't feel like we were sacrificing quality for price, which is definitely a very good thing! The rooms aren't huge - but then, what rooms in Manhattan are? However, they were very clean and comfortable, with...

We have just returned from our first ever visit to New York City and were delighted with Chelsea Pines. We booked back in April on the back of glowing reviews and so on, so we knew we had picked a good one. Later in the year we noticed it had changed hands and the positive reviews were suddenly not looking...

I had a 2nd floor room, kind of overlooking the lobby. The room is fine size-wise (for New York). The bed was especially long which I appreciated. Noise isolation from outside was good. However, the front door leaks noise so anything from the hall or lobby can be heard. Bathroom was clean enough and fine functionally, though a bit cramped....
