The location of this hotel is the big selling point - right in the centre, next to a subway station, within walking distance of lots of attractions. It is also newly renovated so felt slick, clean and well looked after. The bed was very comfortable and the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our 6 night stay. The room...

Great location, great service, rooms were great. Newly refurbed this small boutique hotel is suitable for couples who demand five star room amenities. Bed was super comfortable, I recommend s kind deluxe room as rooms are typically small in NY. Location was great for walking, subway downtown meters away. Quiet at night with easily accessible restaurants nearby. Seriously good option...

When my husband and I arrived in NYC at 10AM, we knew we were early for our check-in. Knowing we could check our bags with the hotel staff and wander the city until 3PM, we headed to HGU. We asked if our room happened to be ready; if not no problem. We were delighted to find out they had a...

Arrived after a long drive from Florida. Daniel and Danielle were so welcoming. Room was very nice but kinda dark so I asked to switch and it was no problem. I was given a voucher for breakfast. Danielle was helpful in selecting 2 very nice nail salons for me. Somehow in the equation there was a bottle of bubbly with...

Party of 15 booked 7 rooms separately to celebrate our daughters wedding in at City Hall in New York. This is my review and does not include the thoughts/experiences of others in the party. As a couple with our son and friend we were last to check in out of the party. We were given a room on floor 4...

I got to NY mid-way through a two week work trip and hadn't slept. The first room I was assigned overlooked a pretty cramped breezeway with very little light. Called downstairs and Daniel provided his favorite room instantly and sent someone to show me so I wouldn't have to go back downstairs. Incredibly spacious and very quiet. Beds are ridiculously...

I stayed at this hotel 1 night while visiting friends with the sole purpose of having a great night sleep. The hotel is really nice, boutique-style, very welcoming and truly very nicely decorated. The staff was very helpful throughout my stay. However, careful about what you're looking for and the room itself: the room i got (room 210) was very...

What a wonderful hotel would not hesitate to stay here again. Wonderful staff who were very helpful with any queries we had. Excellent location next to The Empire State Building (even had a view of it from our hotel window!) Subway station metres away from the hotel door. Also nearby and in walking distance is Grand Central Terminal, The Chrysler...

Great location to visit Manhattan, everything is close by. We went to a Musical in Brodway in the evening, it was just few minutes away by taxi. Very nice staff. Beds were comfortable, room was clean and it looks as though they just refurbished the hotel. Location was great. The King Standard room I got was small. Floor hallways are also small. Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
