Good location, easy walk to many places . Not to far from Time Square. Subway station near by. Clean rooms. Typical New York sized rooms but you wont get a big room unless you spend $500+ in New York City.

The management at the New Yorker is exceptional. After an issue between my sister-in-law and a member of the staff, I spoke with Djiby (hope I'm spelling his name correctly), who was the manager on duty, and he swiftly helped to resolve the situation. He was both professional and personal, approachable and understanding. He spoke to me like a fellow...

The hotel is located in a good place to travel any travel attractions in New York, and the staff were very kind and friendly. The best thing I was impressed is the transportation service from New Yorker Rides where it is on the lobby in the hotel. I booked a driving service from JFK to Hotel return way. The price...

The new Yorker is in a great location and close to everything you want to see and do. The staff are easily approachable and friendly. I would stay here again. The rooms are decent and they are well equipped. The hotel's cleanliness is first class. The Free Wifi isn't great though. I struggled to connect to it at all.

This hotel is a bit off the beaten path for subway riders, but an interesting, historic building with nice Art Deco touches. The rooms can be quite small. Ask for two double beds and you get more real estate. The rooms are clean and well maintained , the beds very comfortable. The hot and cold water fluctuations in the shower...

As usual, I booked this hotel through Priceline secret bidding. It was specified as a four-star hotel but that was being a bit optimistic on Priceline's part. Check-in was fast and friendly. I gave the clerk a nice tip and asked for a renovated room but received an older room on the small side. So much for tipping! My nondescript...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
