My husband and I just spent 3 nights at The Milburn Hotel and were very pleased with our overall experience. The Lobby is classically lovely and the service excellent. We had a King bed which was very comfortable and although the bathroom was small it met our needs. A real plus was the kitchenette complete with frig, microwave and coffee...

We have been visiting NYC every year for a few days. We stay at the Milburn for these trips. This past trip was a bit different because the hotel is undergoing renovations but the personnel were very helpful in trying to figure out solutions- they ended up moving us to a bigger room in a more quiet part of the...

We stayed at The Milburn on our previous trip to NYC, but this visit was even more satisfying. We were fortunate enough to get a queen sized bed room on the west end of the hotel, complete with small kitchenette and a breakfast table for two --- more than adequate for our needs. Well maintained, serviced and quiet. This hotel's...

The staff were wonderful--from holding our luggage (we'd arrived early), to checking in, to getting us extra coffee / towels / ice, and then calling just to make sure we liked our room. I regret not remembering everyone's names, but Curt and Joseph were among the staff who were very helpful and friendly. The kids loved the lobby. They liked...

Although I read the reviews that hotel was undergoing construction, I'd hoped it would be winding down or finished by our arrival. I assumed wrong! The hotel is going through a major renovation, and I would be wary of anyone, esp. the hotel staff who tells you otherwise. Unfortunately, we found out about the construction only after we arrived at...

This was the second time we have stayed here. A bit noisy this time due to renovations and curtains did not pull all the way across the windows. On the whole a comfortable, friendly hotel on the upper west side.

We found all the staff friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable ,expecially after a full day sight seeing. We found the location very convenient close to the subways.,and to museums. Even though no food in hotel. There are plenty of places to eat in the area . Found the beds extremely comfortable. The least thing we liked would...

For years, I have been staying at slightly flashier hotels (well, that is a stretch- but we will go with that for now) on the Upper West Side. Prices got too crazy. So, I looked at the Milburn and a number of other hotels. Even booked rooms in all hotels, then I studied reviews. All hotels were getting mixed reviews,...

This hotel was a little gem. We travelled with our 2 young children so my biggest concern was safety, avoiding crowds and staying near places that would interest them. The neighbourhood was quiet and felt safe. The subway was a short couple of blocks away. A small mini-grocery store, a french patisserie, hand full of restaurants, The American Museum of...

Seems that two things are happening--1) amenities that made this a great place to stay (complimentary breakfast, access to JCC fitness center) are going away, and 2) prices are going to go significantly higher (as in more than double). Not sure how much longer I'll want to return here...too bad, as the staff and hotel have been a great value...
