I would like to preface this review with explaining I stay in hotels around 40 weeks a year, sometimes hostels and am by no means someone who needs upscale amenities to be happy in a sleeping accommodation. We booked this hotel as it was within walking distance to Javits convention center and ended up being by far the worst hotel... More

This was a nice hotel to stay at while in New York City. It was away from the hustle and bustle of Times Square, but not too far to walk to and it was close to Central Park. The hotel was clean and the staff was very accommodating and pleasant. The room is on the small side, which I would... More

Very comfortable and convenient hotel. Small rooms, but that's NY. Close to many attractions, but on a quiet street. Would stay again!! Very close to Madison Square Garden and the Port Authority. Helpful and pleasant staff!

This hotel was great for what we needed. It was clean, the bed was comfortable and it provided a good night's sleep! The area is super convenient to the subway and Times Square. I have no clue why some people previously complained about the area. It felt completely safe at all times, morning and night. Maybe it would be uncomfortable... More

Obviously this is not billed as a high end hotel, but it is clean, and the beds are comfortable. I found the staff to be helpful and accommodating. Our room was a king, and the bed took up most of the room - which was fine with me! But, if you have a lot of baggage with you, this might... More

I booked the hotel through Booking.com with a free cancellation. I canceled the room two days before my stay as required and immediately afterwards I received an email saying that my order was charged full price, after investigation it turned out I was late by 21 minutes and have exceeded into the 48 hours (because the cancellation is Eastern Time).... Stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is underwhelming when you walk in. The front desk is basic no frills attached. But the sole reason for this stay should be the budget. The hotel is on 10th Avenue and it's a 10 minute walk to either Hell's Kitchen or Chelsea (both in opposite directions) Macy is around 7 minute walk... More

My friend and I stayed here for 6 nights in a king room. We arrived in the dark so had trouble finding the hotel but the security guy called out and saved us!! On first sight the hotel is dated inside but the receptionist was welcoming and friendly. Our room was on 9th floor, bed was lovely and comfortable which... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
