Spent 4 days at this hotel with my family in Jan 2023 - after it was highly recommended by a friend. We did not regret our stay here Excellent Service Superb Breakfast Location excellent Clean and Sanitized Hotel Staff helpful and Friendly
I honestly had a great stay during my 3 day visit to the city. I had a great room 2416 that faced south with a great view of the Empire State Building. The floors of the room were a bit dusty but everything else in the room to include the lobby and common areas was very clean and comfortable. My digital key popped up on my phone around noon so I was able to go straight to my room early and start my day. The lady from housekeeping was in the hall and I asked her for extra towels and she was happy to help. However, I could tell she looked EXHAUSTED. I know hotels across the country are short staffed so when I see that they are still managing to keep the place clean I appreciate it. I was sure to leave a tip. I had issues with my digital key working in the elevator and the front desk staff were very nice and courteous to me. Overall I had a wonderful stay and will make this my go to hotel the next time I'm in the city. Clean and quiet, great location and friendly staff.…
Hotel is conveniently located in midtown. Staff is very warm and welcoming. Spa water in the lobby was a nice touch. Hotel was pretty quiet overall with no issues. If souvenir shops are your thing there are a bunch of them close by on 6th Ave. On the minus side - Wasn’t provided with any in-room information about amenities and found out after a long day away that you only get housekeeping if you request it, a trend billed as “green” but really only green in terms of saving money for Hilton by skimping on services. I miss having a freshly made bed and clean bathroom every day when i stay in a hotel but it’s now the norm that it isn’t done. You’re also not allowed to eat at the bar if you have food delivered, even after paying $20 for a vodka tonic (have to order hotel food). I’d prefer a few complimentary bottles of water in the fridge over a free breakfast I never eat or a social I am never back from work in time for, just a suggestion for guests that prefer it. Room was fine for one person but the bathroom is teeny tiny and the coat closet is in the bathroom, a first for me even in NYC.…
The hotel was nice and the location was really great but the staff were not great hence the rating. The food was good and you can have en egg to order which was really nice start to the day. Another great thing was that you get to use your 'resort' tax money in their snack bar. Everything was overpriced but least you get to use it. The room was a bit on the small side as we had 2 big bags but apart from that it was fine. Really nice view. The issue we had at the hotel was the fire alarm went off 3 times during our stay with no explanation from the hotel to us why. It also happened at around 2:00 am. This first time if happen we were so scared as we lived really high up. After 3-4 minute the fire brigade arrived and left soon after. We had no clue if we needed to leave our room. We were very scared. We asked the reception the next day and they just dimissed us as it was nothing that we had been woken up so early and it was a false alarm. This happened 2 more times , so 3 times total. Reception never even said sorry. We were informed it was probably someone smoking in their room but the ones we spoke to didnt seem to care . I would not come back to this hotel as the reception staff didnt care less. The door guy was really nice and helpful.…
Latesha provided the warmest southern hospitality ever! She made quite a positive impression during our check-in, making sure we had everthing we needed and set the tone a our wonderful hotel stay. I will return to this property for my summer visit.
The staff at this hotel are friendly and helpful in every way. From the reception to the breakfast buffet, we felt welcomed and appreciated. Upon check-in, Latesha Negron welcomed us and made sure we had a room with a wonderful view of the Empire State Building. Thank you for your kindness Latesha ! :) this was our second stay here in one year and we will be back !
Vanessa at the front desk is THE BEST employee Hilton has I’m convinced. I travel a lot for work and she handled a complicated, multi check in date, with 2 rooms flawlessly. Everyone who worked here was very attentive, helpful, and nice! I can’t tell you how much this elevated my experience for the better, right away! Bravo to you all!!! This hotel is in a great location, breakfast is on point and a nice glass of free wine in the evening is awesome too! Will be back for sure, especially if Vanessa is working
January 12, 2023 We are Embassy Suites hotel regular customers and fans. This week we vacationed at the Embassy Suites by Hilton New York Manhattan Times Square at 60 West 37th Street. My husband is a pretty big person and is 6.6" tall. With our luggage it was very difficult for us to move around the room. We decided we would check to see what hotels in the area were available with more space. First, I thought I would go down to the front desk, explain our situation and inquire if there were room options before we checked into other possible hotel space in the Times Square area. I would like to commend your employee named Rasheeda who immediately provided us with a couple of room options. Her customer service was excellent. We appreciate her kindness and concern for us. We wanted to let you know what an exemplary employee you have in Rasheeda. Please commend her for us. Also we wanted to commend the bellman named Deni (Dinu) who helped us with online tickets for several New York tours and answered our many questions. We decided to extend our stay an additional night and signed up online for the stay. We were told there was no record of our online stay request and were helped by your front desk manager named Ken or Kevin to resolve the additional stay request. The breakfast buffet in the hotel was excellent. Great omelets! In essence, we are proud to be customers of the Embassy Suites and appreciate the excellent customer service shown to us by these 3 excellent employees. You have much to be proud of. Embassy Suites will always be our first choice when looking for a great hotel. Sincerely, Mrs. Blanche Parks Jones & Darryl Jones Topeka, Kansas …
Booked this trip for my birthday and We arrived at the hotel early at 2 PM and didn’t expect to be able to check in yet but Janiah at the front desk was so kind and could get us in early, she also gave us extra candy and a room with an amazing view!! Would definitely stay again! Janiah made my birthday better!
We had a great time staying here! The location was close to so many cool places and Adam was incredibly kind and helpful with our bags as we arrived as well as when we left. The breakfast in the morning was great too. Definitely would stay here again in the future!
