Have stayed at the Larchmont half a dozen times over the past several yrs. Great location, friendly staff and clean rooms. Understand that you are staying at a palce with shared baths and you'll see that this an absolutely great deal--breakfast, location, cleanliness. Ed, Key...More

I'm writing to add my rating to the average, because the Larchmont deserves more respect. You must be comfortable with shared bathrooms -- that's my important qualification. This is a fine, modest hotel. The staff is pleasant, the street is quiet, the restos nearby are...More

My wife and I were looking for a quick trip to New York on a budget and friends recommended the Larchmont. For the money, it was fine. Great location in the Village and the price is right. That said, I would probably not go back....More

    Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.

Hi John! We had a queen room, there was not a cot. However, there was plenty of room for one or an air mattress or something. Michele
