November 16, 2008 Our hotel Comfort Inn Midtown Hotel was just off Time Square it was close to the subway. We had everything we needed and we spent most of our time looking at New York City. I would stay there again. The breakfast was a cold breakfast, they had hard boiled eggs you could warm in the microwave. Toast,...

My husband and I needed a relatively inexpensive hotel for one night in the city. It was perfect for us! Clean rooms, friendly staff, free continental breakfast. There was also a computer available for internet use and Wi-Fi access in the room. The room itself was a little small, but fine for one night. I think my only complaint is...

I've just returned with my wife from a five night stay at the Comfort Inn, Midtown, Manhattan and it was a wonderful experience-helping in no small way to making our first trip to the Big Apple a most enjoyable occasion. In the past we've come back from a city break and reviewed our accomodation together and the consensus would always...

The comfort inn midtown is a good hotel, and worked well for our stay in July. The rooms are comfortable and well designed. The location, so long as you want to be slap-bang in the middle of the bright and flashy part of town, is excellent. (If quiet tree-lined avenues are more your thing, look elsewhere - this hotel is...

This was the best hotel I found while in New York. It's prices are comparably cheap; it's location is great and close to the metro and theater district; its rooms are great; it had complimentary breakfast and free baggage checking. I really appreciated all of these things when trying to stay in other hotels that were cheaper but a 1+...

Comfort Inn Midtown is a jewel! The exterior is deceiving. The lobby & breakfast room are small but quite adequate. The staff at the hotel, especially a female reservation attendant, the bellman and the breakfast room attendant are all first-class. They were all so helpful during our stay. We appreciated the extra attention we received, especially since we were first...

Excellent budget hotel, great location, friendly staff, small room (but you get what you pay for and in NY there is so much to do you don't spend much time in your room anyway!) Would def stay there again, its so close to Central Park, Times Square, 5th Avenue etc, its ideal for a short break, ad the beds were...

There is nothing bad to say about this hotel. Great location - right at Times Square in the middle of everything. Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast every morning. Saved us lots of money. The room seemed to be recently re-done -- everything was clean and attractive - we even had a flat screen t.v. The room however was small...

Went to New York in July 2008, it was my first time in New York and I also got engaged. Everything about the trip was fantastic and this certainly included the hotel. It's the best possible location in Manhatten, very central for everything. The room we had was spotless, roomy and with very efficient air conditioning. Staff were really friendly...

We just stayed at this Hotel 10/10/08-10/11/08. We found it last minute (the night before our get away). We went into NYC to see a show for my daughter's 16th birthday (4 females, 2 adults, 2 children on this trip) and as it turned out it was just a hop, skip and jump away from our hotel. We felt very...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
