We spent 4 nights in the Carlsbad KOA and it was very nice. Here's what we liked about it: 1.This is a relatively new KOA with very nice facilities. Don't confuse this KOA with many of the other 'old' A-Frame KOAs with burned-out and decrepit facilities. This one is very modern and worth the price. BTW, there are also tent...

We are new to Rv'ing. We planned a trip to Carlsbad and just visit and see the caverns. We booked for a spot at the KOA which is a little out of town. We were greeted by friendly and very helpful people who went out of their way to make us feel valued and cared for. The park is very...

Nice park in the Carlsbad area. Premium sites have concrete patios, firepit, picnic table, and swing. Gravel pads. Staff is friendly and amenities are nice. BBQ onsite, even delivered to your site. Large park with lots of sites, and not elbow to elbow. Actual spce between sites. Highly recommend this park if coming to the Carlsbad area. Even though it...

We stayed here for 2 nights. We had a premium spot that came with fire pit and swing under a nice patio. They have a kids playground, small pool and little dog park for your pets to play. Everyone was friendly and pretty quiet for the most part. They catered awesome BBQ to your RV/campsite too. We placed an order...

Very good KOA! Well maintained; very clean. Spacious bathroom, showers, and laundry. Huge covered patio. Roomy trailer spots and nice tent spots too. The staff was very helpful and plentiful so we could always get help as needed. For a day trip to Carlsbad Caverns, it was a bit far at 50 miles but by far the best campground we...

We stayed here twice, coming and returning from our trip. Very nice campground. Spacious lots. Extremely well maintained. Security with constant patrol. Definitely returning. But don't think because it's Carlsbad KOA that it is close to Carlsbad caverns. It is 28 miles from town of Carlsbad and 50 miles from the cavern. But we didn't mind, because returning to this...

Very friendly, professional, caring staff. I had a problem with my tow on my 35 RV and the maintenance men were nice enough to help me push the 4 passenger motorcycle onto the trailer that was designed to tow it. They didn't have to, but they were there when I needed them, It is close to Carlsbad Caverns and it...

We do not usually do KOA's because of past bad experiences. This place is like home. Great park. The only problem we had was the cable and it was football day. But, we went to the recreation room, kicked back in recliners and watched big screen TV. They had nice extra's here also, like horseshoes, pool, playground. I almost always...

This KOA is the best! We usually avoid KOA'S because they are dated and can't accommodate big rigs. We booked here because reviews at other RV'S in Carlsbad were pretty bad. This park was so nice. Huge wide sites, sparkling clean pool. Laundry facilities had commercial washers and dryers! Bathrooms and whole campground were really well cared for. The hosts...

We spent a few days in Carlsbad, NM and made this our base of operations. The first thing you notice is the campground is very large and the roads are wide so there is no difficulty navigating a class A motor home or large 5th wheel into the site. The sites are large and have plenty of room between rigs....
