As part of our Grand Circle trip, this was a welcome stay. Beautiful surroundings and friendly, helpful staff. Very nicely kept. We would definitely include this park if we returned to the area.
Make sure you order some fresh baked muffins for the next morning!

June 16/17, stayed in a great site facing the red cliffs to the north. Clean showers and restrooms, food and amenities on site. Excellent for Dark Sky viewing if you are on the fringes of the park. Nice gift shop and store.

We stayed at a tent site for one night and cabin for another night. Both had fire rings/pits. We were even allowed to use main "Grill" section with a lot of tables, as it was very windy for a fire outside. As far as RV sites, I don't recall any extra shade, and can't say anything about fire pits, I am sorry.
