My husband and I stayed at the Chuckwagon Lodge one night on our trip to see Capitol Reef National Park. Torrey has very few places to stay or to eat, and is very isolated, particularly in October. The Lodge features a deli, but doesn't tell you that the on-site deli closes at 4:00 pm. So if you are planning dinner...

I was a bit worried about staying here, but was convinced by my friend to book this hotel (based upon review and its cute name). This was a very nice surprise. Nice clean rooms, nice beds, nice restrooms. We then went to the General Store for a nice box lunch - picked up sandwiches for our hikes. I would totally...

I tend to shy away from the Budget Motel category, but this motel had great reviews and I was looking to save money during our two-weeks of travel. I was not disappointed. The front desk is friendly and helpful. The motel's grounds are well-kept and the buildings are attractive. Our room was clean and comfortable although the heat/air was a...

Austins is a competent budget priced motel attached to a general store and deli. It is a two story log cabin facade building with a large outdoor pool. Check in was efficient and friendly. The rooms are medium sized with a small bath; functional furniture and some artwork. Each room has a microwave, refer, medium flatscreen tv with lots of...

We were so surprised what a nice place Austin's is. Super value ($100 for two queens). Super clean, the linens were so crisp. Incredibly quiet - no noise from occupied rooms around us. Wonderful pool. Friendly folks at the desk and at the deli. The grocery store associated with it was very convenient. It's coffee rivaled any best beanery. We...

My boyfriend and I recently stayed here overnight while visiting Capitol Reef National Park earlier this month. He selected this hotel based on the Trip Advisor reviews. The room was dated, but adequate for our overnight stay. There are no elevators and we were on the second floor, so it was a bit challenging to lift our luggage up the...

Pride of ownership is very evident in this spotless, classic two-story, open balcony motel. The facility is very well kept up & we had a lovely stay. In addition to the two-story motel, there are also small cabins. We didn't stay in a cabin but they looked very nice. There is an outdoor pool, but the weather during our stay...

Simple, straightforward and clean. This hotel provides a cozy stopping point for the night. We enjoyed the free coffee and we're not bothered by noise. The well maintained hanging flower baskets outside our door were delightful and refreshing. They say something about the management.

Loved this place. It was one of the cutest little hotels I stayed at. The room was very comfortable and clean! The Décor made me think of the hotels I stayed in while traveling when I was younger. Everything was definitely well taken care of. There were lots of flowers (I even saw a hummingbird!) and it was a place...

No in-room coffee. Free coffee is available to guests at the general store on the other side of the parking lot, so if you are an early riser and want coffee, tough it out. The Bunkhouse is brand new, so the rooms are clean and comfortable. BUT, insulation is sparse or non-existent on the plumbing. Our bed on the first...
