Very very nice hotel. My family and I stayed here for our spring break vacation where we went to sea world, San Diego zoo and the wild animal park. We stayed in the 500's room. The room had 2 double beds but they were big enough for 3 people to sleep in. The room was very nice and clean and...

This hotel is very conveniently located to the beach, the Zoo and Sea Word, the Interstates 5 and 8, to downtown San Diego. It had very nice pools and spas. The room was nice and we had a view of the bay. Would definitely stay there again anytime I go to San Diego.

We booked two rooms and was placed in the 700 rooms. These rooms are very small, out dated, and carpets need replaced. So far our experience was less than average. We spoke to the front desk the following morning and they were very helpful allowing us to upgrade to the bay view rooms, if your room is lower then 1100,...

Thanks Zach for going the extra mile to make our stay great. We've stayed at the Dana several times and its always the tops thanks to considerate and helpful employees like Zach. We'll be back again next year to enjoy another spring break with all San Diego has to offer.

We were upgraded to a Bay-view in the 800 building. Rooms are clean but extremely small, closets small and sink area has only one outlet for coffee pot, hair dryers and toothbrushes. In spite of these small problems, we found the staff to be friendly and helpful. I had the unfortunate experience of dropping my phone in the toilet and...

We stayed at a hotel the night before and had a terrible experience, when I called The Dana I let them know that and we really wanted to stay with them. The Dana upgraded us to a suite when we arrived and were so very nice. It was beautiful, great views, great location and awesome experience! The pool was great,...

The Dana was fine for a place to just sleep. Definitely a 2-3 star place. DO NOT stay in the 500s units because they are right by the street and what a noisy street it is. The front desk clerk gave us a $40 voucher for the restaurant when she couldn't upgrade us to a Bayview room. The breakfast was...

I spent the weekend at the Dana for a family wedding. The customer service that I received from Zach in the front office was beyond amazing. We were diufficult customers at times and he remained patient and very helpful. The rest of my family was also treated very well. I would recommend this hotel to anybody that wanted to visit...

Rooms are small, carpets could use an upgrade or at least a cleaning, tubs old, but room was clean and TV's are new flat screens. I can only comment on a standard ground floor room but definitely would recommend booking an upgraded room when staying here. I wouldn't call this a premiere waterfront hotel as advertised on the website. Nice...
