We chose this hotel primarily because they accept pets. The pet room was roomy and clean and the amenities were above average. The location is great but, as you can expect from the Gaslamp district, you have to be careful. It's close to the Horton Plaza mall and the harbor. We were there for 4th of July weekend and it...

Everything about the Bristol in San Diego was excellent - the front desk staff, the very well designed (and comfortable) room, and the First Ave. Bar and Grill. Location was convenient for the Gaslamp District and Seaport Village. I would definitely return.

The Bristol Hotel was nice and in a great location. Close to the airport, walking distance to Farmers Market, Gas Lamp, and Midway. Would recomend this hotel to anyone traveling to SD. The room was clean and staff was friendly. The only down side is the restaurant, at least during breakfast. Service was slow and order was not correct.

We arrived early in San Diego at 10:30AM, the room was not ready yet (understandably) but the Front Desk had the room rushed clean for us. The bell staff stored our luggage so we could walk around while the room was being cleaned. .We walked to the Farmers Market, it was a beautiful Saturday morning. We enjoyed our walk to...

My husband and I recently stayed at the Bristol Hotel for a three nights. There was nothing about our stay that we would have changed! The front desk accommodated our early arrival within a matter of minutes. The room was clean & spacious. There were even plush robes and slippers that added a nice touch of luxury.
