stay away from there they lie about the room rates and charge way too much. was charged 200 dollars for the business room and the site said its 88 dollars, even with the added deposits it amounted to a 2 night stay and we only got one night
The parking situation is a little weird but the room was very nice; clean, modern, well appointed and comfortable. The breakfast provided several options which the staff kept well stocked. Would stay there again.
My family and I were woken up in the Saturday morning at 7:30am by construction workers. The room on the second floor we were given is above the construction site on the first floor. I called the front desk, after ten rings the front desk picked up and I asked to speak to the manager. I was told the manager would not be til 12:30pm to 3:00pm. Was informed that the owner of the property hired the construction company to come and the workers had no The Days Inn workers have control over their schedule. Three light bulbs in the bathroom are out. The pounding of the hammers and the noise below has given my family a headache to start our day. If we had been informed ahead of time when we check in of the construction in the morning we would have asked for another room or stayed somewhere else.…
This is a shabby and run down Days Inn, but a great location in downtown San Diego. Our room was missing an inside lock, the hair dryer mounting bracket was laying on the floor all week because it fell out of the wall, chairs in the room were very hard and lighting was very poor. The only heat was supplied by a small, electric space heater. Since it was cold each night, the room was very uncomfortable. One night the power went out because of the space heater. Another bonus was vomit in the elevator for a day.
The accommodation was satisfactory. It was quiet. The check in service was very good. The staff was welcoming. The one thing that I just got surprised was with the parking fee which was not mentioned in the website. Also the carpet in the room looks old and dirty which made me uncomfortable.
