Great: Quick cab ride from the airport, fast friendly check-in at 10:30AM, amazing view from king room on 26th floor with huge window and small sofa overlooking bay, large room with desk, reliable maid service daily, quiet hallways, at Sally's one of the best steaks I've ever had, walked out back entrance every morning for Starbucks coffee and sitting at... The staff were all very caring and friendly. Extremely helpful and smiling. The venue was very well situated right on the water in San Diego bay. You could see the Midway from my room. Great sunset view!

Very happy with this place. I'm a Hyatt Diamond and used a suite upgrade certificate. While the quiet suite I'd requested wasn't available the first night, it was for the other 5 nights, and it's a true suite, 2 separate rooms. Nice gym, great pools (adult pool! as well as kids' pools) and lovely executive lounge. Parking is kind of... More

The first thing that struck me, is that this hotel is HUGE. Impersonal. Nobody really cares. Long lines even at the concierge, so you can imagine. However, when I actually interacted with the people behind those desks, they were quite nice and helpful. The view from our room on the 25th floor was great. On the one side was the... More

Visited for the weekend and was pleased with the hotel and services provided. The rooms were nice with amazing views and the concierge was very knowledgeable in helping us navigate around the city. The only tiny complaint I have is the parking. The parking garage and valet were completely full when we arrived, but it all worked out in the... More

We stayed as a family of 4 in one room and the room was perfectly big enough Up on the 23rd floor there were great views of the bay and the elevators came quickly even though the place was busy Kids loved the basketball court onsite and the pool area is really nice It is more of a conference hotel... Hotel is a very large convention-type hotel. It does offer great views of the SD Bay, the Waterfront, Seaport Village, and USS Midway. The Top of the Hyatt has wonderful views, nice wine and appetizers. Easy to take Uber to the Gaslamp for dinner. We had a corner room that was clean, nice view.

First don't bother with the "upgrade" that you'll be offered. All it gets you is a room on a higher floor and access to their execution lounge with "free breakfast." They are not sure if it is a full breakfast or continental. One day it was scrambled eggs and fruit. Beds are just OK, sheets are over starched and not... More

We are pleased to learn you enjoyed the beautiful guestroom views but saddened you did not find an overall value in the Grand Club upgrade. Aside from breakfast daily and upgraded views it does include exclusive access to the Club Lounge with dedicated concierge services, evening hors d'oeuvres and snacks throughout the day. We value your feedback as it gives... More

Hotel is beautiful. Staff is courteous and professional. Location is convenient and close to restaurants and bars. I stay here as often as I can. Top of The Hyatt is a great place for a night cap with stunning views of the San Diego Skyline and Bay. Could not be happier with my experience.
