Went for a staycation as I'm local and had the best time! Arrion was amazing and provided a great cocktail experience for my friends and I! The bar staff at the Landing were also extremely friendly and the experience on a Tuesday night was absolutely wonderful! The bar is stunning!
If you are visiting San Diego, this is the place to be. The hotel has a above 5 star feel to it and the associates really do go above and beyond to make your stay a pleasant one. The front desk associates- Troy and Cruz are above amazing and very well trained on how to welcome guests and make their stay very comfortable. They also have a quieter adult pool that is great if you want the quieter swimming experience, or the louder family pool if you prefer that. And also the Market One food outlet is great, they even have Starbucks coffee and the associates there, are always pleasant and welcoming. The rooms are gorgeous and give you a great overview of the city. I always stay here and would never stay anywhere else while in San Diego.
We had a corner suite, very comfortable and quiet and wonderful views. We would have liked to have a balcony, but overall the stay was nice. Great location if you like to walk to little Italy or Seaport village.
Have not stayed at a Hyatt in a long time but SO glad we chose this property. The room was nothing special, but the overall property was impressive, the service exceptional, the breakfast buffet absolutely delicious and extras generous/
We had a poor experience at check in (I'll just leave it as that). We were not offered anything meaningful despite being globalist (plus one explorist) members. After relaying our concerns to staff, the manager quickly upgraded us to the presidential suite. It was huge as expected. Although it might have been too much for 2 people, we appreciated it for out initial expereince. The buffet brunch was also excellent.
To begin, the hotel on the outside and main facilities is great. The gym was awesome , which I always look for in a hotel. Otherwise, I was disappointed in everything. The room was maybe 3 stars at best. Not luxury by any means. No bath robe. Nothing extra. At all. No blackout curtains as mentioned in the hotel description. Room was small and cramped. The prices at the hotel are outlandish. I went downstairs for just one water bottle at the cafe—$8. And so is everything like that in terms of price. If I’m expecting a 4 star resort I want the rooms to look and feel like that, and they just didn’t. Location is pretty good but at night is definitely sketchy. I came for a conference so I checked out my friends room in the Hilton. Much better. Awesome view of the bay, beautiful lit up rooms and very spacious. For the price, I will not be staying here again.…
Broken plumbing; staff not helpful with delivery of package; no maid service yet my Conference mate two floors under me got daily service? No food and beverage Room service. Had to go down to a lobby "Market" and wait.
The service, the condition of the property and the food and amenities available at the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego all contributed to an excellent experience for me. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel when you are traveling to the San Diego area.
The location is very good; we have the bay view room, so we can see the bay, and the room is clean. But we have no free breakfast. I think it should be included. We pay $383 one night without free breakfast, I can believe it.
I have no complaints as everything was great. Very help, friendly and courteous. Rooms are clean daily, water is free and replenished daily. If I have to say something, it would be that the cafe opened at 5 or 530 as I leave for work earlier than 6 a.m.
