Great hotel...But! I inquired about smoking rooms at the hotel and was told Yes! We have smoking rooms available so I booked. Get there and low and behold, no smoking allowed inside the rooms. Huge let down. Hotel was great, but the fact I was told a blatant lie was not warranted. Its like false advertising, not good.
I am checking out this morning after a 4 week stay for work. This hotel is OUTSTANDING. The staff is as good or better than any hotel I have ever stayed at. Even with COVID issues still looming they were able to maintain the same level of service with only minimal disruptions. My co-workers and I have stayed at this property multiple times over the last few years and the level of quality has never changed. This is my go to hotel in San Diego and it will continue to be.
For property as such you think they would have water views when they're near the actual Bay the sister property a Hampton Inn across the way offers water views and a rate that's $40 less a night I was looking forward to some of the actual restaurant but the app was not updated so there is no Smashburger when the apps are the Smashburger one next door otherwise you have to go to Liberty Station and eat at those restaurants
