Tower23 was an amazing experience! I had a work conference in downtown San Diego for a couple of days and wanted to spend a few days on the beach afterwards with my husband. I did a lot of research and found Tower23 based off of reviews. I am so glad we picked this hotel. We normally stay at Marriott properties because I’m a member and you always know what your going to get - no surprises. Luckily, this was a great surprise! From the minute we got dropped off from our Uber, the bell guy was so helpful and then when we checked in Abbigail was top notch! So welcoming and even upgraded us to a spectacular ocean view! She was attentive and friendly, they even had Prosecco sent up to our room to welcome us. The amenities that come with the resort are so worth every penny. They provide a free welcome drink from the restaurant and even breakfast the next morning - and I’m talking straight off the great restaurant menu, not buffet. The bikes they offer are perfect too, which we took advantage of - rode down to Mission beach and all the way up to La Jolla. The hotel location is perfect, right on the beach, great views and can walk to all of the restaurants, stores and bars. The design and interior are classy beach themed and the property is so clean, but I have to say - the best part is the service - BEST IN CLASS! What a awesome beautiful place to celebrate! We had a ocean view room with balcony with fantastic view of everything. The staff was over the top from arriving with our luggage, to getting our keys. Thank you Bellmen Anthony & Zackary. Our breakfast every morning was very tasty and amazing service. Had a great celebration dinner the night of our anniversary. The Alaskan Halibut was over the top delicious with side of roasted purée potatoes & corn salad. My husband and I had the same main dish. We paired it with a amazing wine we bought from one of our favorite wineries up north from Santa Inez valley . Thank for letting us bring. Waiter was amazing. Answered every question we had about our meal. Can’t remember his name :(. But he had a accent. Sorry. Very sweet young man. Made our meal experience awesome. Lighting was very romantic out on patio, a Beautiful weather evening. Sunset was amazing. Will differently celebrate again in future. Excellent hotel! Professional and friendly staff. Very clean and well maintained common areas and the individual rooms. Great restaurant. Fabulous location with ocean views. Adjacent to many types of retail. Beach access easy and hotel is right on an excellent walking trail.

I stayed here with a couple of my girl friends as a surprise for my best friend's birthday! Tower 23 definitely has the best location in all of PB when it comes to the bars, restaurants, and the beach! Upon arrival, we were given a coupon for 2 free drinks and we each got a chili mango margarita, so good! The hotel and restaurant staff (JRDN) were great, as was the view from our room. Definitely staying here again1

We really enjoyed our short 2 day stay at Tower23. The hotel has a retro vibe with modern updates. We LOVED our balcony room overlooking the beach/ocean/pier. The bed was comfortable, but pillows could be a little fluffier. Our room had a tub/shower. An added bonus is the restaurant/bar JRDN. Enjoyed the sushi, drinks and super friendly bartenders. Location is away from Mission Beach crowd, which we appreciated. Would definitely stay here again!
