We rented the Luna Suite and had some friends come out for a birthday celebration. The suite is steps away from the rooftop bar, so after meeting up in the room, we all moved out the bar and had some food and drinks. The bar only serves food until 7 (8 on Friday), so plan accordingly. The room itself was huge, with two double doors that open onto a patio facing the pool. There is also a wet bar in the room. A wonderful place to entertain some guests and enjoy downtown!
Modern boutique hotel, friendly staff, clean, quiet all in a great location to restaurants, bars and the harbor. Valet parking was convenient. On-site restaurant was great for breakfast. Rooftop pool area was relaxing.
Staff is awesome! Very responsive and friendly. Location is walking distance to the best restaurants and bars and two blocks from Petco Park, if you’re looking to take in a Padres game. Will definitely be coming back!
Return to this property after a 8 year hiatus and it did not disappoint. Centrally located for food, drinks or late night mayhem along 5th Ave. The property is very safe and well staffed. Important as the streets in the Gaslamp have no shortage of aggressive and unbalanced homeless everywhere. I upgraded to a suite and really enjoyed the very large soaking tub and walk in shower. All in all a very enjoyable stay. Highly recommended.
We came for a weekend away with another couple... Hotel was very clean, nice and staff is very friendly and helpful. Valet parking only but they are super quick even when busy. We loved the roof top bar and firepits enjoyed a few hours on a friday night and not to busy we found plenty of seating to choose from. Food was really delicious and priced reasonably and bar staff was super friendly and bubbly. Pool is small but nice we enjoyed having cocktails while relaxing in water. We came at 3:00 and no where to sit right by pool but we didnt mind as we just wanted to be in water. Met a lot of people in the pool it was a fun day! Lobby area was nice and we enjoyed relaxing every morning with complimentary coffee . Over all it was a great stay and right in middle of restaurants and bars so plenty of places to eat in walking distance. Recommend Lou and Mickeys steak house a few blocks away it was amazing food and cocktails a little pricey but worth it! Our waiter was Glen and he was awesome and very knowledgeble. Only negative for hotel was our shower door was coming off hinge and not lining up correctly with glass wall so it kept getting stuck on me and took me several tries to open to get out. They had someone come to fix while we were out of room but it still was not correctly alligned and I got stuck again for 5 minutes trying to get out.. Not a big deal but it could be a lawsuit if that door breaks its glass so could really hurt someone if it falls while your in shower and $55 a day to valet car (only option) so a bit pricey addition to fees but most hotels charge a resort fee now so it was expected. We would definetely return loved this hotel and it was better than what I had anticipated. We stay at a lot of hotels and I am very picky and do a lot of research before booking so was not sure what to expect since our first time there but this place was amazing!…
