We enjoyed our stay! We took a private room in the eco Farm house. The room was basic (as expected - it's a hostel), but clean. We had a decent bed and a nice outdoor private terrace! Such a pleasant surprise. If you want this, ask for room 14. There was just one downside. You had to go through the dorm to access our room. This was annoying at night, when we wanted to go to the restroom because you wake everyone up. It's a squeaky wooden staircase. Pancake breakfast in the morning (7-10AM) with free coffee or tea. Great location! 10 min. walk from the harbor with Uss Midway, maritime museum, 5 min walk from Little Italy so there are plenty of good restaurants and bars around the hostel. Good atmosphere. The guests are invited and encouraged to socialize. It's everything a good hostel should be!

I stayed in room 4, which got really HOT, but only had two beds so it was nice to have some extra room. Hanging out on the deck was fun, and the breakfast was awesome! A great place for solo travelers, or traveling with friends.

We started our roadtrip through the westcoast in San Diego. ITH hostel was very easy to find, but we had to look around to find ourself a parkingspot that was not to expensive. Due to delay of our flight, we arrived very late, but there's a 24 hour reception, so that wasn't an issue. We stayed in a dorm of 6. The locks were all with a code, sometimes there was a slight malfunction on the lock on the door of the room. Quiethours were respected by all residents so the hostel was very tranquile. The room was small but tidy and the sheets were already on the beds, which was very nice. There was also airconditioning in the room, which was great but a little noisy. We had 2 showers and 3 toilets below and a bathroom and shower on the first floor which didn't lock properly. The bathrooms were all nice and clean. We had breakfast in town and didn't take part in the activities of the hostel, so we can't say anything about that. Overall we had a great stay. Good Wi-Fi connection. Quite pricy, but in this area a normal price. Price-quality definitely a good place to stay. Highly recommended.

Excellent location near Balboa park which has the renowned San Diego Zoo. In addition, it is very close to several trolley stations which you can use to get to places like San Ysidrio, which borders the town of Tijuana. The staff at the hostel were so welcoming and caring from the moment I arrived. Special thanks to Diana for being so thoughtful and welcoming throughout my stay. I would definitely stay again.

Amazing place, in front of the beach. Best spot in PB. The bathroom in the girls room could be better tho. The deck has a beach view that is amazing, everyone just spend some time there chilling and getting to know each other. I loved the experience!
