We ate last night in hotel lobby. Food from chef Timmy was great. Perhaps best salmon I have had. Server Tyson was great too! Wonderful evening in downtown San Diego. Second time we have eaten here and all the food has been good. Good size portions as well. My wife and I split a meal and had plenty

Very nice room, very quiet and comfortable, loved the window seat. Bed was comfortable. I liked NOT having a bathtub and just a walk in shower. I didn't try any of the amenities such as the restaurant or the pool/bar area. Very close to the trolley which I used to get around the city and access the convention center. Would...

We showed up for a 2 night stay in what was supposed to be a high floor suite. When we arrived the staff was very accommodating and the bar tenders were phenomenal! You have to try a Jalapeno infused margarita... When we went to the room our keys did not work, so we went down stairs and they reissued them,...

I just checked in to the hotel less than 30 minutes ago. I was originally checked in to the room 1908 (the top floor), the room stinks like a bathroom and the floor somehow was really noisy, maybe it's the fan since it's the top floor? So I went back to the front desk and requested to switch to a...

This hotel is average at best. The outside bar was never open this week, even after the front desk told us it was open. The construction across the street makes a ton of noise and no sleeping late.....consider yourself warned. The front desk was slow to check us in but helpful.

I usually stay in the Gas Lamp area but i thought I'd try something different. This location is great but my room is bunk. the furniture is old and funky. There is no light on or over the work area/desk and the only chair in the room is as comfortable as a warn out bean bag chair. Many, what looked...

Front desk service was superb. Michelle was a great hostess. She was very friendly and helpful. I guess after looking at other reviews they are putting thier effort in improving. The stayed was very pleasant and had a great time. I went on leisure, 3 nights with my wife. In a nutshell my final conclusions: Pros: -Staff very friendly -Location...

Honestly, this hotel falls well short of the cheapest Marriott collection. It is a former W Hotel and it has seen better days. During my visit, the hotel lost its water supply for a complete day. The door on the bathroom is a barn door and doesn't shut all the way. No place to sit in the rooms. Just not...

I stayed here a couple nights for a conference that I attended at the San Diego Conference Center. The conference provided a shuttle, but I chose to walk to the conference center most of the time even though it was a very brisk 15-20 minute walk. The distance from the conference center could go either way, but I actually enjoyed...
