It was new, very clean, and so conveniently located to everything we did. The only minus was very minor --- to add an additional hot choice to breakfast other than the alternating hot oatmeal or waffles ----as in eggs with bacon or sausage, e.g.. The staff is outstanding!!

We have stayed at a number of Navy Lodges and this was one of the best. It is well staffed 24 hours, has an elevator, a fresh continental breakfast, and a 24-hour small store. It is an easy walk to the large exchange or commissary. The room was large and well cared for.

I have used several Lodges in California, and the location of this one is priceless. The sandy beach is comparable only to the Caribbean, the hotel was at full capacity during a long weekend and you couldn't tell. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, we had a view to the ocean, you could chose a view to the pool side....

First of all, this hotel is for family sponsored by someone in the military, it is inside a military installation and you cannot get in if your sponsor (husband, wife, son,..., etc) is not with you and stay with you. The hotel is work in progress as far as today (1 Sept 2016) and the locating of the check in...

Antonio, Thank you for your review and feedback. WE appreciate your patience & understanding during your stay while the new lobby was still under construction. Amenities, such as the breakfast, had to be slightly modified due to the construction but I'm happy to report that since we've moved into out new lobby the breakfast service is better and we are...

Used while pcs and very nice. Walking distance to Commossary and nex if you need anything. Room was very roomy with small kitchen, microwave, and iron. Beds were soft and staff was very nice and helpful when we asked to stay another night due to jet lag.
