Vienna, Austria

We spent three nights in the Dolphin Motel and we can say that it's reasonably priced for the offered accommodation. The staff was very friendly and courteous, they always tried to support us in what we planned to do in San Diego (e.g. they gave us a Seaworld coupon which saved us 20$ of the entrance fee per person!). The...

Hello Vienna, Austria. Thanks for taking the time to send in your frank review, and thanks for the compliments. We want our guest's expectations regarding our rooms(especially the small size) to be accurate. Regarding the plane noise: We have never had a plane fly over or near our motel. The airports location, and setup, preclude flights over our airspace. You...

We were at this place from december 24 to january 2 and we loved it. Room very clean and have all you need. Great staff and the owners are very kind and helpfull. For breakfast, muffins (very good), bananas and yogourt are included with your room and of course coffee and tea. Good location for visiting the region. The Zoo...

Wonderful guests this couple, I remember talking to them in the office and recommending few other places as well. Because our upstairs rooms are very limited, please reserve early (1-2 months in advance) to get the lowest rates and most availability! Once again, such a pleasure to have you stay with us!

The staff and owners were friendly, helpful and greatly interested your experience. The complimentary breakfast is outdoors so we took it to our room as it was cold that day. It consisted of muffins, yogurt, bananas, apples and the usual beverages. The room is very small and basic, but the bed was very comfortable. Although the rooms have no phones...

Thank you for your frank review. We do appreciate you giving us a chance when you visited San Diego Our rooms can be described as basic so they may not fit every traveler to San Diego We do our best to hit the ball when it comes to cleanliness, comfort and price. Once again, my dad and I thank you...

I first stayed at the Dolphin Motel shortly after my "release" from an abusive marriage in 2008. I wanted to reclaim San Diego, a place I've loved and visited for years. I drove the eight hours from Tucson for a short three-day weekend and was warmly welcomed by the staff. Felt safe and secure in my little upstairs room with...

Simple accommodations: small rooms, basic amenities, but everything spotless and service above and beyond what you expect anywhere. I arrived and within five minutes the gentleman at the reception had made change for my taxi driver, ordered me an airport taxi for the following morning and printed my boarding pass! Rooms are minimal, but comfortable with TV and free wifi,...

Thank you for taking the time to write us a review As stated time and time again, the best customers we can serve are the budget-minded traveler. We are by no means a luxury motel, usually that means paying more Our customers stay here for business and vacation but the goal is not to stay in the room all day...

This is the best budget motel/hotel I ever stayed in. If you are the like me and really use your room to sleep and shower then this is the place for you. Helpful staff that is always willing to make your stay more fun. This place is a bit of a throw back to the 1960's motels, but with FREE...

Clear, concise and sweet You described our motel in a nutshell Thank you so much for trying us out and as always book early to get a low price and most available room Once in awhile we do get our fair share of unhappy guests (but that happens everywhere!) The best way is like you described earlier, to do a...

We stayed four nights and had a fabulous time. Our balcony room (36) overlooked the harbour. It was spotlessly clean. Location was perfect for our needs and situated in a quiet street. All the staff were more than helpful with directions to the various attractions and places of interest. Nothing was too much trouble for this friendly family run Motel....

The day after I ran the Tinker Bell Half Marathon in Disneyland, my husband and I headed to San Diego for two days of rest and relaxation. Free Wifi and free breakfast plus the 1st class service make this the best motel I've ever stayed in. Rooms were clean and of reasonable size. Very close to airport and perfectly situated between downtown and the beaches. Reception printed off our boarding passes and even let us borrow a lap top for no extra charge. We will be back!

Thank you so much Steven! Service Service Service We pride ourselves in service, which can be given at no extra charge! That is a must! The Dolphin Motel is a great place for the right person. It's economical, clean, directly across from the harbor (we watched the fishing boats come in, which was great fun!), situated near some very nice restaurants you can walk to, and has terrific employees.
