If you are a family member of one of our brave men and women serving in the military we are a 5 minute drive to the MCRD and a 5 minute walk to the Old Town Trolley station. It was a nice place to stay. Great location! 9 minutes from the airport. Close to destinations. Many restaurants around. The staff was friendly and helpful. Free breakfast included waffles muffins and cereal. Garage parking was 12 dollars a night. I would stay there again !

Friendly and efficient staff. Can’t complain, had a great stay. Elevator was close to the rooms but had great side exits. Rooms had ac, additional lamps and a tv. Will recommend. Having experienced a week at Western Inn Old Town, I would say that I have found my perfect place to stay on my future visits to San Diego. The staff are welcoming and cheerful. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. Good size rooms and very clean. Easy access off the freeway but yet the rooms are very quiet. It took me about 10-12 minutes to walk to the trolley/bus station where I was able to commute to several key places of interest. I rented a car for my last 2 nights, which I recommend if you are planning to explore the city further and are short of time. The hotel provides secured parking for a small nominal fee. Great shops and restaurants very nearby to enjoy. Highly recommend!

Extremely filthy and falling apartment. I wouldn't stay there again if they paid me. Probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed in the United States. Extremely poor and amateur repairs, hairs in the bathroom, paper thin blanket, loose times in the hallway, etc etc.

Pics online look great. If location is your ONLY CONCERN, great. The staff here is amazing, but the owners should be ashamed of themselves. This place is a dive. It is falling apart. Bathroom needs gutted entirely. Entire space needs new g]drywall repair and paint, Paint is peeling. In general - Very bad condition. Beds not comfortable. Sad place.

This location was perfect for my recent stay in San Diego. It is right on I-5 highway, 8 highway which takes you anywhere in San Diego. Close to the beaches, downtown, Mission Valley, and all the major things in the area. Airport is 5 minutes away by car and lets not forget that it is walking distance from old town strip where you can dine at fabulous places. I was able to walk to Happy hour! In addition, the staff went above and beyond when I needed something. They felt like family. Clean rooms and just necessary to make my stay enjoyable.
