The Crystal Pier cottages are set on a long pier that you can drive, walk or fish off of in Pacific Beach. They are a unique experience as you are literally over the surf. So nice to hear the rolling ocean and see the sun set. Cottages are neat and clean and hold 2-4 people with a bedroom, living area,...

This is a gorgeous spot along the San Diego coast. The rooms are clean, and well appointed. The bed was comfortable, quiet and a view of the Pacific Ocean. Highly recommend. The wait time is one year to book a room.

At Crystal Pier, you can't take your bicycle but the hotel offers free access to the end of the pier during the daytime for walking and fishing. Old wooden planks creek as you make your way to the end, which may have a Christmas tree in December! If you like fishing, a bait and tackle place offers rentals. Great views...

My husband and I splurged on a cute one bedroom cottage on the wharf....so happy we did. We happened to be there during a high surf warning. It was rainy and windy most of the time. It was amazing to watch the waves out our living room window and feel the wharf move with the waves. I am hooked and...

We had cottage # 6 which is almost halfway down. We wanted one over the water which this one is. The surf is actually pretty loud. I'm a very light sleeper and surf work me a few times a night, I would recommend staying more over the sand if you are a light sleeper. We didn't notice the cottage shaking...

There aren't too many places where you can sleep over the water. Fortunately, this is one of them. We made reservations six months in advance and were lucky to get the cottage we did, unit D. We couldn't have been happier. The unit itself was spacious, clean and comfortable. We loved leaving the windows open so we could hear the...

We included my brother on this trip,, he was very impressed with the set-up, the cottages, and close proximity to the beach. We checked in early, our cottage was...

This is such a fun place to stay. Cutesy little pier cottages, basic but homely - this one is all about location. We stayed for three nights while visiting our son who's at university at SDSU. It was just a great place to be, turned out its the place he hangs out at with his friends on off days so...

We were there during a huge storm and lots of movement in the cottage. That just added to the experience. Not a fancy place but that's not why you stay here. We were midway down the pier & it was perfect. Cottages are well maintained & fully equipped. Stores nearby to grab groceries or other shopping. Games & cards available...
