Room was very spacious and clean. Just about every major attraction is in walking distance. Several T stations are located close by as well. The only suggestion would be to have some sort of continental breakfast. I have stayed there with family several times and will continue to book here in the future.

Hotel Room was good size, staff was friendly, but no has a hard time getting our room cleaned. We checked in on a Saturday. On Sunday we displayed our "Please Clean Room" tag on our door. No one showed up to clean the room until about 4pm on Monday. Had to request towels several times. Overall the hotel was clean,...

The room was neat and clean and the staff friendly. It was really nice to have a refrigerator in the room. When the room was cleaned sometimes washcloths or coffee was forgotten but the front desk was always helpful in supplying what we needed. We liked it enough to book a return visit when we checked out.

Room was well appointed and a good size, but needs significant updating- carpet was fraying and everything seemed a bit dingy. I get that they are going for a retro look to everything, but there is a way to do that well and it just wasn't happening. The room was rather musty smelling and damp feeling, and the bathroom had...

My only complaint for my stay is that the soda machines in the hotel did not work. This is not the first time I have stayed there and this is not the first time the soda machines have not worked. Please get someone in to fix the machines.

I picked this hotel for the location to Fenway Park and mass transit. The hotel is old and somewhat maintained. Needs to be remodeled, it looks old & tired. Our room had two double beds, and we requested ahead of our arrival a roll away bed. We're traveling with two boys. When we arrived and went to our room, the...

The location of this hotel is fantastic. It is within walking distance of a lot of things including Fenway Park, Copley Place, and lots of shops and restaurants. It is directly across the street from the Christian Science HQ which has a wonderful reflection pool and plaza. Copley Place is within a 10 minute walk and Fenway Park is about...

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
