a cool retro hotel, with on site parking, that is very close all things Boston!...we walked to Boston Harbor during the day for a cruise, then a short cab ride back to the hotel, and then had a short walk to fenway for the concert.....very easy...

Been staying here for years when we come for sox games. Service always excellent. Needed updating which they have been doing. Brand new lobby and some rooms. Main carpeting in halls hopefully will get upgraded during one of the renovation phases.

Location was excellent for a conference in the Prudential Center/Sheraton. Concierge Kevin was helpful several times. The room we had faced the street so was a bit loud as we had the windows open trying to outsmart the AC which was a bit finicky. Housekeeping was good overall. The room was huge, but the space was not used well... maybe...

Our weekend stay for the dead and Company concert would not have been the same. Very close to the Prudential Center easy access to the T. I also enjoyed the large retro rooms. It was quiet even though it was full of concert-goers. There's a great place down the road called Thorntons that offers a great breakfast for the money....

Stayed at Midtown Hotel in July 2016. Hotel parking garage was easy to access and clean. Staff was welcoming and very friendly. Room was clean and very comfortable. Slept through the night peacefully. No loud noises or issues at all. I will stay here again.

I stayed only one night, Saturday 7-16-16. The staff was all around excellent, from the front desk to the maids, and everyone else we came in contact with. I was a little disappointed the room didn't have a refrigerator.

We had a wonderful stay at the Midtown prior to a summer concert at Fenway Park. After getting settled we spent some time relaxing in the pool , before walking over to Fenway. The room was spacious. The Desk Clerk Ketty was helpful and polite. Everything went smoothly. We all agreed it is the BEST way to enjoy a summer...

Great location, but bathroom does need some refreshing. Glad to have AC, but it was a little loud. Hotel staff was exceptionally helpful and professional. You have to pay for parking. Symphony stop was ½ block away.

I was incredibly happy during my short stay at the Midtown Hotel in Boston. The staff is so much friendlier and approachable than at some of the other "expensive" hotels. The room was clean and comfortable and within walking distance to many things in Boston. Unfortunately I was working and din't get to enjoy those parts.

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
