Stayed here for a conference where it was the budget "student hotel." The price at $129 was awesome and I don't regret saving $100+ over my colleagues in the huge chain hotels down the street. My room was clean and had good wifi, coffeemaker, iron, nice mattress, clean linens, working A/C. Pretty much all you require. Bring a WHITE NOISE... More

Very nice surroundings for the price! We stayed four nights and the location was awesome. Boston is a great place to visit and the hotel was good at pointing us in the right direction for things to see and do.

The Midtown provides good value for a no-nonsense, no pampering stay. And I like the fact that it is just a block from Thornton's, a great place for breakfast. I recommend that you update the decor - the possibilities of just patching things in the bath with caulking have been exhausted and the furniture looks worn. The beds in my... More

My cousin and I stayed at Midtown hotel for two nights. The bed is comfortable, the room is clean, the location is perfect! We really enjoyed the hotel. It is nothing fancy, but I think it has everything essential for a pleasant stay for a regular family. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The manager( I think he is the... More

Pleasantly surprised and very happy with the staff and service. Around the corner from 3 T lines. Green, Blue and orange. 15-20min rides but for the price it worked out perfectly. Clean rooms, safe neighbourhood.

I Found the hotel to be in a great location for the place I wanted to visit. Staff was attentive and helpful. Room was small but adequate. My needs were addressed . It was nice to be able to take a little swim to relax after a day of site seeing.

I stayed here with a group of students after it was recommended by my daughter. It's clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and it's close to the T. We got a great rate and I would certainly stay again if in the area. Unfortunately we were only here for one night.

We arrived earlier than checkin and were pleasantly greeted, our bags stored for us, and we walked off to see the city. When we returned for checkin, we were pleased to find our room very clean and presentable - it worked well for what we wanted. The hotel is within easy distance of what we wanted to see as tourists... More

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
