For the most part everything was good. Some of the staff weren't the most pleasant to talk to. What the room was lacking in was made up by the various stores and restaurants that were in walking distance around the location.

Hotel was nice, with comfortable, clean rooms. Quick complains were few outlets in room, partially uncovered garage (snow got on the car), and no complimentary breakfast. For the price and convinience of the hotel location, they're all overlookable problems. Had a nice stay.

The location is nice and convenient to most parts of Boston. Easy access to the Green and Orange lines and ride pickups. The heating system (as is nearly everything about this hotel) is old and Loud, but gratefully very effective even on the coldest nights in Boston (9F). The only real downside is the poor selection of food within short...

I've used the Midtown for stays in Boston for years now. I love the large size of the rooms, especially when I'm in-town for conventions (meaning LOTS of luggage). That being said, you definitely get what you pay for and the Midtown is on the cheaper end of the spectrum. No fridge or microwave, the hallways and elevator are dodgy...

The hotel was nice enough and had a great location. Food options close by were kind of limited but we managed to find a good spot. Rooms were clean, the pillows were fantastic. I wish I had taken a picture of the brand, seriously good pillows.

Basic clean room. Great location to universities and museums. Good parking but expensive. Overwhelming smell of fabreeze in room that did not fade. Wondering what it was covering up. Pricey for the basic room. Toiletries made in China. Very courteous friendly staff. Walls thin very noisy 2 am guests in hallway.

Staying here was a good decision. I have stayed here before and there have been updates since the last time I stayed. The only issues I had was that our toilet would run all the time at random times and that the Pepsi machine didn't take anything cash coins or cards. The staff were super friendly and helpful and always...

We enjoyed the service at the Front desk, the cleaneness of the room and we got what we were expecting. But specially we enjoyed the fact that the hotel was at walking distance from the places we wanted to see and visit

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
