the room was really expensive and for the expense I felt that the room condition was poor for the price. I would also say that for this price most hotels would serve breakfast and have better guest relations.

This hotel is a bare minimum hotel, but the location is great and the price was right! It is within walking distance of many of Bostons tourist locations. Be sure to go to the the Sky tower! Take the freedom trail too!

The staff were nice and room was clean. I was disappointed about the fact there was no workout facility. The location was nice for getting to the convention center. Good place to stay and price was good

Good value for the location (very close to everything). Excellent, friendly service. Our beds were too hard and the bathroom in our room was poorly-designed, but overall value for money was good. Parking is very easy in the underground garage. Very clean.

This is very close to the Hymes Center and lots of happening places in the area. The staff are super helpful and nice. The hotel is older and a bit on the shabby side, but it is clean. If you want to easy access to places and see the hotel as a place to rest a bit and sleep, this...

I chose the Midtown because I was in Boston for concerts at Symphony Hall and Jordan Hall and it was wonderful to be so nearby. Hotel staff was helpful, and the room was very comfortable and quiet - all in all a very pleasant experience.

My room was not very clean and had a gap underneath the door. The toilet ran every 2-3 minutes. The AC wouldn't stay on, but I found out the windows opened on my 2nd night! The layout of the hotel is awful and it's ridiculous that you have to take your bags up ~10 steps to take the elevator. NOT...

The location is convenient. Walking distance to the convention center and shopping malls. The staff members are kind and helpful. The price of the hotel and parking is very reasonable. I'm satisfied with my staying there.

Midtown Hotel was a good value close to the Back Bay train station and the convention center. My spacious room had a good view of the city scape and the blooming plants in the front beds. Maid service kept the room spotless and reequiped.

Great location: walking distance to Northeastern University and Museum of Fine Arts. Easy access to the T. Room was basic, no- frills but very clean and larger than expected. Climate control was broken but we were comfortable. Great front desk staff- friendly, helpful, courteous. On arrival, we stopped in early (11am) to drop off our luggage and they let us...

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
