Not sure if i will stay again at this property. service was a little indifferent . Location is very good I think some of the other ratings overhype this property a bit. Rooms are first class with special touches like fireplaces that set them apart. Didn't like the tub shower in the bathroom. Probably won't be back but still gets...

We use the American Express Platinum Fine Hotel and Resort Program. I the case of XV Beacon hotel in Boston, we always get an upgrade to a suite. Some have been crazy with a second room complete with large fireplace and dining table. In any event. This hotel is a nice as a boutique hotel gets. The rooms are beautiful....

Hospitality has been re-imagined at XV Beacon. From the moment you see the understated yet elegant entrance, you know that this is a special place. But that is only the beginning to a stay that is both luxurious and memorable. The rooms are a treat with sumptuous linens atop a feather bed, and all the high-end amenities you might expect...

Great Beacon Hill location within walking distance of the major sights, Boston Common and Back Bay shopping district. Large, quiet, well appointed bedrooms and stylish bar and restaurant. Friendly, helpful reception and concierge staff. Would be very happy to return.

It has been 40 years since my last trip to Boston and I was bringing my best friend ( British ) to see Boston. From the minute we were on the sidewalk outside the hotel to the moment we were dropped of by our driver at the train station, I couldn't have been more pleased. The entire staff was incredibly...

The hotel has a good location - just across the street from the Boston Common (a wonderful place for a stroll), close to a primary T stop (Park St.), and a short walk from many good restaurants on Charles Street. The rooms and bathrooms are small and my room was a bit dark, but they are very clean, nicely appointed,...

I stay at XV Beacon whenever I get up to Boston which is a few times a year. I am a business traveler. I feel like it is my Boston home away from home with family included. The staff is so accommodating, genuinely nice, and really makes you feel special. The rooms are first class, spacious, and very elegant. GM...

My wife and our son have been staying here once or twice a year for the last ten years. I am constantly amazed by the reception we receive upon our return every time. They have had numerous staff members working there for at least that long, and that, to me , says volumes about what kind of hotel they run....

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
