I've stayed at all the highest rated hotels in Boston; Ritz, Four Seasons, Taj, etc. This one is smaller than the others, a little less expensive, and I enjoyed it much more. It's charming, especially the restored antique elevators. The service is terrific. The staff is nice and accommodating. They have a house car for guests' use. You couldn't tell...

Stayed at the XV w/ my GF for 2 nights. Really spacious rooms, comfortable bed. Loved the in room fireplace. Wifi is fast. Old time elevators are fun. Service is great. Parking is, as expected, very pricey. The location is superb with easy access to everything. Would stay here again when visiting Boston

Long time I had not been there but XV Beacon remains the best boutique hotel in Boston. Spacious room, nicely furnished and great amenities in the bathroom. Mooo is a good place for breakfast and lunch meetings

Stayed here with my son for college tours. Great location and top notch service. Thomas the concierge one of the Best I have ever encountered. The other concierges are also amazing. Rooms are a bit neutral, but very clean. They have Mark who drives the hotel car, what a gem!! Gave us a lot of information about Boston and got...

I would highly recommend XV Beacon. It's an amazing location (you are within walking distance from Boston Commons, among many other things), and the accomodations and service are spectacular! We loved the in-room fireplace particularly. The staff was phenominal!

My husband and I stayed at XV Beacon for the first time last week for a quick vacation to Boston and we were absolutely blown away. Located in a great and historic area of Boston, it is the perfect destination for a couple to get away. The rooms were luxurious and the staff was great too. There was a small...

Despite an April Fools Day storm we had a great wintery weekend at XV Beacon. The hotel is walking distance from so many great spots in Boston, no matter which direction you head in. What makes the place great is that the staff was so friendly and helpful, from the doormen, to the front desk, to housekeeping. Our cozy studio...

Spent four nights here on business trip and it was such a haven to return to at the end of each day. Food at Mooo restaurant fabulous; it's a destination in its own right, and rightly so. Rooms are wonderful and the gas fire the best touch ever!

The hotel was just ok. The colors were so dull and the room categories were so similar it wasn't worth the up charge. I enjoyed the restaurant Moo.. for dinner. The male staff was much more friendly than the female staffers for some reason. Thomas the concierge was the best. He was extremely helpful and friendly every time we saw...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
