The Dagny was selected by a friend who is a travel agent. It was the last stop on an east coast trip with my family. We arrived before check in, but were given great suggestions by the concierge, who also locked up our luggage. We returned late and found ourselves in a large, beautiful room. The black out shades were amazing, the temperature perfect, the beds comfy and we did not hear any street noise. The Dagny was well situated to everything we wanted to see and in walking distance. The coffee shop in the lobby was great and served everything you could want. If I go to Boston again I would stay at the Dagny.

The Dagny is the perfect hotel in Boston for business and vacation travelers.

For the business travelers your got quick access to either airport tunnel, a location in the heart of the Financial District, and two onsite restaurants — Tradesman, the best coffee/lunch shop in Boston and Fin Point, one of the best restaurants downtown with a terrific bar for watching a game. The rooms were recently redone and are REALLY nice, better than some plain jane Marriott or Hilton trash. Ceiling heights are 10 feet everywhere. The new gym is first class. Management here is super attentive.

For the vacation traveler you’re within 2-3 blocks of Faneuil Hall, the Aquarium, Duck Tour stops, and of course the amazing Freedom Trail. All the major Boston tourist spots - Boston common, Public Garden, and of course TD Garden are within in a legit 10 minute walk. And Tradesman is a great morning splurge with over the top pastries. The rooms are an incredible treat. We splurged on a suite and the extra space and seating area was terrific.

This is the go to in Boston.

We had a lovely stay at The Dagny! The hotel was quaint and well-equipped. We stayed in a standard King, which was roomy enough for the 2 of us for 3 days. The bed was uber comfortable, and the room darkening shades made you feel as though it was always night, so we slept very well. The bathroom was large and had a nice walk-in shower that had body wash, shampoo and conditioner available. At the sink they provided face wash and lotion. Everything was clean and neat in our room and the hotel. The doorman greeted us and were helpful. The lobby was clean and the check-in process was quick and easy. Even our room near the elevator was so quiet, you'd never know they were around the corner. The hotel was very close to everything! We would definitely stay here again. Great job!

he Dagny Boston was an amazing experience.

It started with messages from the hotel before we arrived, during our stay and even after we left today. When we first arrived on Thursday morning we were greeted by friendly doormen and Dina at the front desk who was so lovely. She said they had a room ready early for us but that it was an adjoining room and if we wanted a preferred floor and a more private room that she could accommodate later in the day. That was fine by us and we requested a high floor. We left our bags with the very nice luggage attendants and went out to explore Boston for the day and came back to the hotel with our room ready on the top floor of the hotel.

The room was modern, stylish, clean and had great quality towels. Only one bathrobe but not a big deal for us or else I would have asked for another. The room was cleaned everyday and was very well done. Kudos to the cleaning staff.

There is a high end bar/restaurant attached to the hotel. We had drinks there and it was great. The food looked good and they had $1 oysters between 2-5pm I believe. There was also a coffee shop attached to the lobby called Tradesman Coffee Shop & Lounge which had great coffee, amazing sandwiches and other treats.

Finally, the location was amazing. It was tucked away in a quiet area but also steps to the harbour, downtown, north end, Boston common and other attractions. A very walkable city and this hotel was in the middle of it all. Great pubs, seafood and more within a 10 minute walk too. 5 STARS! Thank you to the lovely staff.

Loved this hotel and would definitely stay again. Room was spacious, clean and pleasantly decorated. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do and most of the staff were very chatty and cheerful. The onsite dinning and cafe were also of high standard. My only criticism is I have never been to a hotel before that gives you a fridge for drinks and an ice bucket and ice station but no glasses to drink from. When I asked if we could have a couple sent up I was told to ask at the restaurant. This just doesn’t make sense to me when everything else is of such a great standard. I didn’t deduct a star for it and it wouldn’t stop me staying again but I am intrigued to why 🤷‍♀️

A beautifully renovated hotel in a very cool old building. The location was perfect, being within a 10-minute walk to many attractions, including the Freedom Trail, Boston Common, Quincy Market, and the North End. Although downtown, the area was quiet at night, which meant very little street noise while trying to sleep. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. The room was large, well laid out, clean, and comfortable. The only minor issue was that our room was not cleaned for the first two days of our trip. This may have been on us, as we tend to sleep in a bit, and the room was cleaned immediately when it was mentioned to the front desk. The Dagny was a great base for us to explore the city and we will absolutely stay here again when we return to Boston.

This was our first visit to the Dagny, previously we have stayed numerous times at the Sheraton, Marriott Copley place, Park Plaza, and Westin as well as a couple of 3* hotels. The Dagny certainly held its own , and in some areas out performed its 4* partners. Firstly the staff were uniformly excellent. The room we had was really well appointed, and a very generous size ( room 1025 ) The beds, linens were very good, the decor and bathroom were also first rate. There was plenty of space to hang clothes, store cases , and all of the usual things you would expect, hairdryer, iron, ironing board, refrigerator and a neat modern safe in a drawer between the two beds. The room had plenty of electrical outlets and places to charge laptops, phones etc , and a nice couch and a decent sized work desk. The TV was a good size . Shoutout to the cleaner who was excellent and very pleasant. I was a little hesitant when I booked it as it was in a slightly different location to where I tend to stay , but I really enjoyed its proximity to the centre of Boston, access to Faneuil hall, Quincy market, North End , Common , Downtown Crossing. It really did deliver and I couldn’t really criticise anything. The icing on the cake was the fact that I was contacted by staff via text messaging regularly , was the check in ok? was the room ok ?, I was also able to request a slightly later checkout by text . Thank you for a great 5 night stay, there was clear evidence that the culture was to focus upon customer experience, and ensure that they were happy. Well done and thank you, I would return tomorrow.

The Hotel is nice and clean and is in a good location. The room was spacious and generally the staff are friendly. The issue we ran into was trying to redeem the destination tax credit of 10 dollars per day. This hotel does not give you a physical voucher which is common practice in other hotels we have stayed in. On top of the lack of physical voucher, each staff member we spoke to had a different view on how the voucher could be used. Upon check in they advised that it can be used by putting the bill on your room and mentioning your hotel room number in either the coffee shop or bar / restaurant that is in the hotel. When trying to do this each day is where we encountered issues. Every different staff member told us something different. We then approached the reception staff and the manager, still to no avail. The hotel staff manager came down to the bar / restaurant with me to try and sort it out but the GM of the bar / restaurant said they don’t accept or apply any vouchers for hotels guests. Upon checkout we tried one last time, however we were still unsuccessful. While the staff will say the credit should be applied they are not as quick to actually apply it. We ultimately decided that the effort to claim the credit was not worth it. Otherwise the hotel is very good and we have no other complaints but it seems very odd to get the run around and waste time to lose the credit money for something that is very simple in other hotels.

Edina was courteous and accommodating when I checked into the beautiful Dagny hotel. I arrived early for a business trip and she efficiently found me a room and allowed me to get to my meetings refreshed and unencumbered by my bags. I would definitely recommend the hotel for its location and amenities.

My sisters, niece, mom & I made our first trip to Boston in October to celebrate a special birthday and during months of research & planning we chose the gorgeous Art Deco Vintage The Dagny Boston♥️🏨(formerly the Hilton Boston Downtown)! This fabulous hotel is also conveniently located (walking distance) to several fabulous restaurants including @Servia Boston, @Bostonia Public House, & @Lily's Bar - Pizza+Patio. We will definitely stay here again.

Prior to our arrival I contacted the hotel a few times to confirm our rooms & room types and everyone I spoke to was nothing but courteous & accommodating.

When we arrived we were greeted as if we were their only guests & we were treated with such elegance and courtesy during our entire stay.

From housekeeping to room service…our entire experience at this hotel was nothing less than spectacular!!!

The hotel lobby is stunning along with the library & its 3D bookshelf & very cool furniture. The music in the lobby is also fabulous and our rooms were spacious and comfortable.

Special thanks to the following Dagny staff: (Please forgive me in advance if I failed to list everyone’s name because absolutely EVERYONE we encountered, were so courteous, professional and everything awesome)!

The Fabulous Eddie who greeted us upon arrival and who also helped us when we checked out. Always a smile on his face with a witty sense of humor.

Andrea who texted me upon arrival & during our stay checking to see if we needed anything.

The fabulous front desk staff including Emet, Hansel, Katie, Joseph and last but not least..the beautiful & helpful Dina who checked on us during our stay & who helped coordinate our special treats. I also connected with her immediately as we both discovered we share the same background.

The AHHMAAAZING Mike, Director of Guest Services who went above & beyond & then some in advance of our arrival and during our stay to accommodate our needs & requests. There aren’t enough words!!! Thank you again sooo much Mike!

Fabulous John & Fabulous Barry who helped me with the Balloon Bouquet delivery & additional special thanks to Fabulous Barry for coordinating the beautiful & delicious fruit and cheese trays.

The awesome Ali who helped us with restaurant recommendations, random questions and our special treats.

And special thanks to Keith who helped me with my research in advance of our arrival who I sadly didn’t get to meet. Thank you again so much Keith.

In summary, our experience at this hotel was perfection & magical.
