If you like dingy old worn-down furniture and a sad, run-down, dreary look to a room that appears to not have been renovated, repaired, or decorated since the dawn of time, this place is for you! An ancient thermostat kept our room unbearably hot. Nothing elegant or luxurious about this hotel except the room rates. If its owners don't put...

The attitude of all the staff is great. Very good location just at the beginning of Newbury street. Very nice facilities. Very comfortable and spacious rooms. Free bottled water and free wi-fi (details that other hotels are still charging for). Excellent choice in Boston.

Great location. Upon checking in, the staff kindly upgraded me to a park view, which was appreciated. Great view. I thought most of the staff were very good. The cleaning staff were extremely pleasant and friendly, as was the Albanian gentleman sent to my room to unclog my sink drain. The front desk staff were also very good. I thought...

Hotel is very nice, needs a little remodelling as the hotel is old, but with that being said it's very clean! The cleaning ladies are TOP notch👌🏼 Room is cleaned twice a day! Keep in mind the hotel is in a very high end part of town! So everything is not so cheapy! If you want a high end hotel...

Hotel stay was awesome! Hotel staff was great all around. Nice room, great bar, but a little pricey. I was disappointed that the Indian food was not as good as I expected. However, the service is top notch. I highly recommend this place if you wanna be in the center of Beantown.

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
