While not one of the quaint boutique hotels that Boston is famous for, the Sheraton is a centrally located, full service hotel. The staff was great, room was clean and quiet. I was very surprised. I selected it for the price and location and had low expectations. Congratulations to the management and staff for earning a repeat customer.

My mother and I stayed at this hotel with my infant son, he had some doctor visits at Boston children's hospital. The staff were amazing with him, attentive to him, and ensured our stay was excellent!

Hotel is in a good location. Rooms need some TLC and cleaned better in-between stays. Our mini fridge had food left in it from previous person, and had to ask for extra TP. Did buffet breakfast, not worth the price, but hostess and waiter were super nice. Will try another hotel on our next visit.

This hotel did the trick, but nothing about it impressed me. I can see it being a nice choice for business travel, but it didn't have much charm or personality. The bathrooms are small; the rooms are a decent size The staff was great and the location was nice, but I will probably stay elsewhere next time.

We have stayed at several Boston hotels recently and this is by far our favorite. Perfect location with easy indoor access to shopping and restaurants in the Prudential Center and Copley Place. Our room had a fabulous sweeping view of the Charles. Parking lot is pricey, but convenient and you can save $12 per day by self parking. T stations...

This hotel is in a great location and you can pick up a tour bus directly outside every 15 minutes. The staff were very friendly and there's a great breakfast place just a couple of blocks away. Rooms have views across the Charles River.

Last time we visited-about a year ago-the hotel was undergoing renovations, and the work made the stay less than perfect. Happy to say renovations are completed. The resulting lobby is wide open and airy and very pleasant. Hotel is in a good back bay location.

I stayed at the Sheraton for a two nights. The room and bed both where very comfortable. Clean and almost spotless. There is nothing bad to say about this, but it is expected for a hotel of this price category. Outside the regular hotel experience, I had trouble with logging on to the free WiFi in the lobby. I asked...

I come to boston every other week and I try to stay here whenever I can. The front desk staff is always so friendly and the location is the best in the city when it comes to finding good places to dine, a vibrant nightlife, or travelling to other areas of town. I also love the views of back bay(especially...

I stayed here to attend an event in the City. The hotel staff was friendly and the lobby is inviting. The room was reasonably clean; however, the bathroom could have used more attention. The Hynes Convention Center and Prudential Tower are adjacent to the hotel so there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Also, there are plenty of place...

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
