This historic hotel is lovely and the location is perfect. My only complaint.........walls are super thin. I could hear everything in the room next door from their loud music, sex, conversation, etc. Needless to say, I didn't get any sleep.

The room was tiny, with one small window of which the lower 2/3 was taken up with a window air conditioner and a black board. The bathroom was so small that one had to close the door to stand at the sink. Unless you're absolutely enthralled by the history of the hotel, for the same price I'm sure more comfortable...

Very nice, old, historic, but high quality! The wood, the brass, the look and feel was excellent. Service of all the staff exceeded expectations. Food was awesome in the Parker Bar. Concierge recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner. Staff got us a cab and got us to the airport quickly. I would definitely stay here again!

I recently stayed for a conference and the hotel was offered through a 3rd party service that managed the booking for the convention. When I booked there were not any hotels with the 4 nights that I needed so I was placed on a waiting list and this hotel eventually became available. It is an older hotel and the front...

Great hotel with a great central location in Boston! The lobby is gorgeous and smells wonderful upon entrance! The rooms were good, the bed was extremely comfortable! The hotel restaurants had good food (a tad bit over priced) but do splurge on the original Boston Creme Pie...very worth it!

Great hotel with attentive staff. Great location for weekend visits to you favorite haunts or for the tourist coming in for the history of Boston. Within walking distance of all the significant historical sites and don't miss the statue of Bill Russell right around the corner.

Our stay was more than we could have hoped for. The location was perfect for exploring the Freedom Trail. We stayed for six nights and the accommodations were very comfortable and all our needs were taken care of. If we visit Boston again, we will definitely stay at Omni Parker House.

The Omni Parker House is situated to the historic sites of Boston. It's an ideal choice for those who want to spend the day exploring the city and then relax with a cocktail surrounded by dark wood, fresh flowers, and gold trim. It's a few minutes walk to Quincy Market, Boston Common, the Theatre District, and the North End from...

We stayed at the Omni Parker House over the 4th of July. The location of the hotel is excellent, within walking distance to the historical sites, restaurants, the T (State)... We found the bed to be very comfortable and had very restful nights. We were able to hear some conversation from the room next to us during the day, but...

My family stayed at the Omni Parker House last night. We booked the Freedom Trail Suite way in advance (literally 6 months out). This suite (and there is only 1 in the hotel) has a separate room for mom & dad with a king-size bed. Then, there is a family room with couch, chairs, tv, etc. The family room open...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
