Very nice stay! Came in for college visits with my son for a couple of days. The front desk staff were very helpful. The front door staff were outstanding - always asking how our stay was and if they could assist us in any way. Only disappointment was the view - we could have touched the building next to us...

We did not stay there but had lunch in their restaurant. The food was excellent as well as the service. This is the birthplace of the Parker roll and the Boston Cream Pie we we tried while we were there, both as good as you would imagine.

What I've come to expect from Omni. A historic property, well maintained with good service. Good central location just a couple blocks from Boston Common and near several different T stops. Friendly reception desk staff as well as a bar with a large selection of whiskeys.

Great hotel. Very conveniently located. Staff very friendly and helpful. Deluxe room was great although the bathroom was a bit small but adequate. Bed very comfortable. Would definitely recommend. Lots of nice places to eat. Cannot comment on the restaurant as we did not eat there as expensive.

Great hotel to stay, in walking distance to everything, John F Kennedy proposed to Jackie here. Food is great, service is the best. Rooms are clean and very nice.Walk to Freedom Trail, Cheers Bar, shopping, eating. Take the T to get around, Faniel hall. The Parker house invented the Boston Cream Pie and wow is it good.

If you are looking to be part of Boston's history, this is a great place to stay. While I will say the décor and overall feel is a little dated, that is the point. It's a piece of history right in the middle of Boston. Very conveniently located on the Freedom Trail and is close to everything. The staff was...

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times over the years, and I'm never disappointed with it. The rooms are a bit small, but that is to be expected in Boston. The location is perfect, with access to taxis, subways, shops within walking distance, etc.

The Omni Parker House is in a perfect location. Close to the T, all lines. Central location near Boston Commons, Downtown Crossing, Government Center, Fanueil Hall, Quincy Market. A short walk to the Aquarium and the North End. Friendly staff. A historical hotel.

Omni is quaint, historic and satisfying. The rooms were nice, the place is a little off the beaten path (but on the historic trail), a little quiter, and a fun place to stay. had a nice fitness center on the lower floor I enjoyed the stay, ate a quick bowl of chowder in the bar, but attended meetings and dined...

Got a great Groupon for the Omni Parker House and was right in the middle of everything in Boston. Was great to be in walking distance of the Freedom Trail. The accommodations were fantastic and the kids loved being in such a historic building and area. Highly recommended!

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
