Stayed one night for my anniversary with an exceptional deal from groupon which included $50 food and drink credit. Can't say enough about the Parker House. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is filled with rich history. The decor adds such character and charm as you step back in time. Some say it's haunted but we didn't see anything out...

If you're looking for old world style hotel in convenient downtown Boston, with non-cookie cutter rooms but all interesting and regal, this is the hotel for you. Love the modern, chic places, but sometimes really appreciate the traditional, almost old world European luxury style. My go to reasonably priced downtown Boston location.

Gorgeous, beautifully restored and maintained hotel in the heart of the city, easy walking access to the harbour, Freedom Trail, Beacon Hill, the park and the North End. Once at the hotel, we didn't have to use the car once to access tons of local attractions! The hotel staffs friendliness and willingness to accommodate any requests was wonderful. Highly recommend...

Stayed for 3 days in an executive room, fantastic friendly staff, from doorman to room cleaner, everyone had a smile and helpfull attitude, the room was spotless, the bed luxurious, my only complaint is the cost of the room service, as the food is expensive anyway, so to pop on a 6% in room dining charge, and a 16% service...

Very nice! We went here with 3 kids, and the freedom suite is set up very well for this purpose. The staff made us feel welcome and went the extra mile. The suite itself was slightly larger than expected which is also nice.

Centrally located in downtown the Omni Parker Hotel was perfect for our needs. The hotel is of a classic design with a beautiful lobby. The staff were welcoming and warm. The room was well proportioned and contained all the amenities you could desire. Would recommend and book again.

The Omni is expensive, let's get that out of the way. The only reason I was able to stay there was that I used Groupon. After all was said and done, one night cost me a little over $100. Because I used Groupon, however, I was given a lesser room, but I was fairly prepared for that because the same...

The hotel is beautiful, but the room was very small and noisy. We were located on the 2nd floor, so perhaps if we were placed on an alternate floor, it would have been quiet. The housekeeping and front desk staff were wonderful. If you eat at Parker's Pub, be aware that you may have to wait for your food, get...

Staying at the Omni Parker House was a very nice experience. The hotel, staff, restaurant offerings were all amazing. Given how old and historic the hotel is, the small rooms are somewhat understandable. That said, though, my room was VERY small. It was the smallest hotel room I have ever received. Make sure you know the size of your room...

I frequently stay in Boston and my go to hotel is the Parker House, my home away from home. The staff are the best around and the value during winter months is exceptional. The Parker House is conveniently located near all the major attractions and business destinations.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
