This was a great experience for our business conference. Check-in and Check-out were fast and easy, and the staff recognized me. The valet service was very handy, as parking in Boston is always a "fun" task. Save for a couple carpet areas that were a bit worn from heavy traffic (halls, restaurant), the décor was stunning, and you can't beat...

The hotel treats one like a King and Queen...and on January 1 (if you get up early) you can have the pool for yourself and swim/look at the beautiful Boston skyline! Then you can enjoy a fantastic New...

We stayed for a wedding on site and it was beautiful. The guest rooms were perfect and had great views of Boston. We had our two teenagers with us and the room was plenty big for a family of four. Loved the location to Boston Common and local sites. The amenities as in the workout room and the pool were...

Years ago when I lived in Back Bay in my 20s, I walked by this hotel and dreamed that one day I'd be staying here. And finally during a business trip to Boston, I did. I had a lovely room with a view of the Public Gardens and of course the service was sublime. The only thing a bit off...

I stayed at the Four Seasons for three nights last week, in an executive king suite, with my two daughters and one of their friends. We had a wonderful time using the car service, swimming in the pool and hot tub at night, ordering room service, and having breakfast and drinks in the restaurant. The staff went above and beyond...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
