Boston is expensive and, when I asked Reception if they had a bigger room as ours was small, that is basically what they said - small rooms, high prices. But four nights here was too much money and not enough space. I'd booked and paid ahead and would have moved after one night if I hadn't paid ahead. Not so...

So I stayed at the Chandler Inn over Memorial weekend after reading reviews on trip advisor and finding a decent deal online. I was concerned about some of the reviews I read but decided to book it because of the price and location, and that's about what I got. The room was clean and the front desk was very friendly...

My wife and I visited Boston as part of our vacation around the NE corner of the USA from Australia. The staff at reception were fantastic and very helpful. The rooms were were stylish, clean, comfortable and modern with everything thing you could need. Handy to most of the city attractions with a laundromatte just around the corner. Very handy when...

Considering the prices of hotels in the area, this smaller inn is a real bargain. I was visiting Boston for business and the John Hancock conference center was only a short walk away. While the building is clearly older, the rooms were recently remodeled and are lovely. The room furnishings were stylish and modern, there was a flat screen TV...

Good location, close to Train Station and at walking distance from most of the Boston places to see. Room a bit small, but good and clean bathroom. Nice and helpful staff (they provided also an adaptor for European plugs). Good (and free) Wi-Fi connection in the room. Price adapted to location.

I would very much recommend staying at this hotel. The location is excellent; a 10 minute walk to Back Bay or Arlington stations and literally a 10 minute walk in the city centre (Copley and Boylston). The rooms aren't huge but that really doesn't matter as they are clean and relatively well sound insulated. The staff are very friendly and...

As many other people have said the rooms are small, but that just adds to the charm, If you are going on business and working in your room this might not be your best option. The front desk was very helpful and was able to direct us to where ever we wanted to go. We didn't have a car and...

Very nice hotel. HD Direct TV, super clean with compy bed. New and modern bathroom, (while a bit small). Other room doors closing were loud, but not enough to keep me awake. I liked the location as it was in walking distance to Amtrak Back Bay, (which has local metro and commuter trains). On the same block is a laundromat,...

I stayed here 1 night. The staff was extremely helpful. Check in was easy. It was my first time here so other rooms here might be different. My room was small with no desk. As I was here on business it would have been nice. The wireless internet was spotting. The room had a musty smell to it. It was...

Great hotel on the edge of the theater district. The rooms are small but stylish and clean. There's no restaurant on site but there's a coffee shop right around the corner for breakfast. There are many nice bars and restaurants to choose from just a short walk away. Boston Common and the Freedom Trail are with walking distance also. I...

Neighbourhood Profile
South End
Stroll down the beautiful brownstone lined streets while capturing views of Boston’s tallest buildings from a distance. Some of Boston’s best restaurants are scattered around this neighborhood. There are many gems to be found, from jazz clubs to classy bars and restaurants. It is also home to art galleries, interesting boutiques, artsy stores and SOWA open market during the summer months. The South End is a true find in the city, with a more residential feeling than Back Bay.
