I have stayed at this hotel twice for a conference. I like the layout of the rooms. They are convenient, comfortable and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful, although front desk layout doesn’t work well when several guests are checking in or out. Convenience to...More
Fairly new hotel with all the amenities of a much more expensive hotel. Received an upgrade at check in for being a Starwood Member which was a nice sized room on the 11th floor with a view of the City. Nice sized bathroom/shower area and...More

Well, at 63 years old you're wondering how I'd know about something being "hip." But I do recognize it when I see it. The Aloft I stayed at earlier this month was a genuine delight. Decorated as a 21st Century hotel located in the up...More
I stayed at the Aloft because I was attending a conference at BCEC. Having said that, I would have chosen another hotel based on the fact that the room rates were pretty steep and not commensurate to the quality and service.

This area has been expanding and becoming more and more popular, for good reason. Not surprisingly, the seaport district of South Boston is located beautifully along the water. The area is designed for easy strolling along the HarborWalk, and there are bars and restaurants for all ages and budgets. The Institute of Contemporary Art is located in this area in a contemporary building with an absolutely stunning
deck overlooking the water. In the summer time there are Friday music concerts on the deck of the museum. Nearby, there are many green spaces to enjoy.
