Good: Boston is extremely expensive, and the place is comfortable for it's price. Love the luxury of having a kitchen - and what they have is more than sufficient. Furniture well chosen for room, though slightly cramped, still enough space for luggage. The public balcony and roof are lovely additions, but unfortunately the weather was too cold and rainy when...

We spent a while looking at various types of accommodation in Boston, and we went for the Grand Studio (number 8) at the Boston Christopher based on the location and that the hotels were mostly out of our price range. The location is great, lovely part of Boston with picturesque brick town housed streets and some nice cafe's and restaurants...

No sound insulation between units - you can hear every sound, every word. Never saw / hear anything like this. There was also a fridge which had to be plugged put at nite due to the amount of noise. Severely rationed tolietries.

Our friend booked this as a B&B, however, there was no breakfast at all! The room was small...neighbors heard easily through the wall. The shower barely released enough water to get you wet! The refrigerator made lots of noise, and the bed was so uncomfortable that it gave me a backache!

Given the high cost of this place, I would say it's not worth it. When I arrived (on a hot, humid august evening), I entered my studio to find it too hot to sleep in, and I also discovered that I couldn't control the AC from my own apartment (one of the other apartments controlled it!!) The apartment was clean,...

I stayed in two different units of the Boston Christopher during a recent conference. First a studio unit and then a one bedroom unit when my room-mate arrived. They sent the door codes in advance, which worked well. The walk to and from the convention center wasn't a problem-in fact it was quite delightful walking past a park and some...

Stay dates: May 14 - 18, 2012 Minutes from Airport: Approx. 25min in traffic, cost $30 with tip Check in and Unit Condition: Access code sent by email, entrance way was well lit with instructions on how to use the key pad. I arrived in the dark. I was in unit #2. Had to walk up one flight of stairs....

We stayed here for 5 nights over the st patricks weekend. We chose the studio apartment and got this for 89 dollars a night. You pay 50percent of your total stay when you book this apartment and the rest two weeks before you arrive. When we paid the final amount you receive the main door entrance codes and your room...

Excellent location for us to stay. Sadly we booked this room for just 3 days not knowing if we were defintely flying over to Boston which if we did would have been for 7 nights. Room was right at the top and at the front. Well worth the price compared to hotel room rates for the inner city hotels. Rooms...

I went to visit friends who live right next door on Columbus, so the location could not have been any better. I was by myself in the studio, I had more than enough room and the place felt spacious and light. There is a fully fitted kitchen area, with large fridge, oven, etc. However, I recommend exploring the many cafes...

Staying in South End

Neighbourhood Profile
South End
Stroll down the beautiful brownstone lined streets while capturing views of Boston’s tallest buildings from a distance. Some of Boston’s best restaurants are scattered around this neighborhood. There are many gems to be found, from jazz clubs to classy bars and restaurants. It is also home to art galleries, interesting boutiques, artsy stores and SOWA open market during the summer months. The South End is a true find in the city, with a more residential feeling than Back Bay.
