My Girlfriend and I stayed at Hotel 140 at first because it was within our budget. Little to our surprise it was the perfect location for our little weekend get away! Within walking distance there are so many restaurants, bars, lounges, clubs. The Aquarium was only a 10 minute drive and Fenway Park just 15! Again great location can't wait...

Lovley hotel bed very uncomfortable and small. Good location, staff didn't know much about anything we asked them the surrounding area and things to do and how to get to them. Shower in bathroom extremely hot and no kettle in the room.

This hotel is in an excellent location a block from Copley Square. The room was on the smaller side, but clean and bed was comfortable. Room included iron and ironing board which came in handy. Staff was very friendly at check in and check out

Clean and centric hotel- close to bars and restaurant in the heart of Boston! The property doesn't have a parking but they have an arrangement with a Parking nearby for the guests for $28 daily. Friendly staff.

The size of the room was great for the price I paid. There are laundry rooms up on the 12th and 14th floors. Really helpful when you've been travelling for a while and need clean clothes done cheaper than sending it away to be cleaned. You do need to get your own detergent though. The showers were great - immediate...

Great location in the center of Back Bay with quick access to public transportation. Close to many landmarks. The hotel is clean. Friendly service. I was able to request late check-out (noon). The room was small, but nice.

Stayed here for 4 nights on our first trip to Boston. Hotel is located minutes from Back Bay Station and Copley Square and we found it very easy to get around. Free tea and coffee available in the 7th floor lounge 24 hours a day, and there was also a small coffee machine in the room. Bed comfy, and bathroom...

I stayed in Hotel 140 for four nights on my business trip. The location is great and I slept well in the room but there was little information on amenities provided. The staff was friendly but ignored me upon check-in which left a slanted first impression. I was there to train employees elsewhere on customer service and used it as...

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
