We booked a romance package at The Boxer for one night in mid February. My wife got a nice text from them around mid day the day of arrival asking when we expected to arrive so they could have he prosecco ready in our room. We thought that was a very nice touch. However, when we arrived at check in,...

Pros: nice location in North End, attractive contemporary decore, friendly staff, clean, comfortable bed, nice bar (also restaurant that we didn't eat in) in lobby. Cons: our room facing side street was pretty dark, windows really dirty, room a bit too dark, room was also quite small. Overall, happy with this hotel. We stayed for only one night, and they...

You can't beat the location for events at TD Garden or a night in the North End. Problem with our heat(couldn't get the room to cool down). Staff came right away and fixed the problem. Next morning same problem with the heat (way to hot) since we were checking out we lived with the problem but informed the front desk...

I forget how small the rooms in hotels of big cities are! I was very surprised at how tiny the rooms are, but I think this might be common. I was also very disappointed that there was no closet--just an exposed rack for my clothes to hang on and really nowhere to put my shoes out of the way. I...

Darsalle and Luckas were awesome! They were very accommodating and even let us have a later check out. This is a dog friendly hotel and they treated my dog like a king and provided a dog bed for him. The Boxer is in walking distance to Quincy Market, Boston Aquarium, and lots of pubs and shops.

Nice hotel, well positioned in Boston. Slightly dark decor. Clean room with plenty of space. Slightly thin walls; kept awake all night by a couple fighting! Minibar prices pretty steep; 4 bucks for a bottle of water seemed a little high to me.

First time visit to the Boxer. We were pleasantly surprised by the charm of the building. The front desk staff (Luckas and Co) ran out in the rain to help us get the car parked. Then came the hot tea with honey for my wife who had lost her voice. The hotel is small enough that the staff remembers who...

My girlfriend had to go to Boston for job training over Valentine's Day and I wanted to surprise her with something in the room when she arrived. I called The Boxer ahead of time and was assisted by a gal named Mariah L. She did an AMAZING job setting up a welcome gift. She even offered to write a handwritten...

This stay was absolutely fantastic. Our stay was supposed to be during a blizzard, but the hotel accommodated us and allowed us to arrive a day early to make sure we were safe. They knew that the reason for the trip was for my birthday, so they included free breakfast for both mornings, and even sent up a cake one...

So me and my better half had our first date in Boston 3 years ago and go back every year as an anniversary celebration. We chose to stay at the Boxer and we weren't disappointed. To give you the background our car broke down on the NJ turnpike on the way there to which we called the hotel (stressed) and...
