The quality of services provided was excellent, the location very good but the value for price was not optimal. I consider the hotel very expensive since we paid a total amount of 500euros per night for a 3 member family living in a two double bed bedroom.

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

First time in Boston and first time at a Loews hotel - extremely impressed by both! Welcoming porters, friendly and efficient check in, comfortable and well appointed room, great atmosphere in the bar/restaurant area, sensibly priced bar food - all good. I try to leave some constructive criticism for hotels that I visit but it's difficult on this occasion. My...

Can't express enough how nice my family's stay was here in Boston. The location was perfect for meeting up with my wife after the marathon. The rooms were super clean and the staff was attendant to our every need. The hotel bar and restaurant were also very nice. I would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting for the Boston Marathon...

Stayed at Loews Boston for a few nights this week due to conference at work. Everyone at the hotel is extremely friendly and courteous. Room was quiet and clean. Pillows were extremely soft and bit uncomfortable. Would prefer a mix of soft and firm pillows. Overall, good hotel.

We stayed at Loews for the Boston Marathon. Great location and excellent staff. Very nice rooms. We were on the 9th floor but there was a lot of street noise, which made it difficult to sleep. Not much the hotel could do about that. I think it is typical for a hotel in a big city. I would definitely stay...

I like Loew's so stayed with my daughter and her friend. although the pre-arranged connecting rooms somehow got lost in the booking, the desk did make a very concerted effort to accommodate our needs. the rooms were a good size and comfortable. the day we were there, they only offered pub type food in the restaurant. the food was good....

Friendly atmosphere in what to used to be an old police station. Exceptionally friendly staff. Cozy living room on the first floor with a variety of green tea, which is uncommon in many hotels. Their coffee is also up to standards.

I stayed at the hotel for the Boston Marathon weekend and I was gladly surprised and happy with my choice! The hotel is great in terms of accommodations (great bed!) as well as service. The staff was ready to help during the whole time with small things like the breakfast starting service at 5:00 AM on race day and offering...

Excellent place to stay close to the finish line and the best after party in town. Precinct bar is the perfect place to hang out and the bar staff are first rate. Rooms are quiet and what you would expect from this kind of hotel.

Believe the reviews that congratulate Loews' staff on their level of service: this should be the model for other American hotels. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, the bathroom generously proportioned. What was apparent however was that it was in need of a little refurbishment and some drawer space. However from the warm welcome at reception, to the chambermaid...

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.

It's not often that a hotel embodies all that a city stands for, but the Loews Boston is just that place. Housed in the stately limestone building that was once home to the Boston Police Headquarters, our recently renovated boutique property is-like the city of Boston itself-a unique and unforgettable blend of historic charm, urbane sophistication and authentic New England hospitality. Our exclusive Back Bay location, which is ideally situated between three of Boston's hottest neighborhoods-the South End, the Theater District and the Back Bay-puts you in the heart of all that Boston has to offer, with everything you want to see or experience, including the shopping on Newbury Street, just moments away. If you are in town for an event at one of Boston's many colleges and universities, we offer effortless access to the campuses of Boston University, Boston College, Harvard, Northeastern, Emerson and Tufts Medical School, to name just a few. Our 225 spacious guestrooms, two luxury suites and an expansive Presidential Suite have been freshly renovated and bring you the ultimate in modern convenience and comfort.
