I stay at this hotel fairly often for business. What sets it aside to me is the high quality of everything that you touch there and the personal service. The rooms are nice, well equipped and many have nice views of the city and the park. The minibar is very well stocked and I have found that although I do...

Having been a resident of Boston for many years, it was wonderful but bittersweet to return and stay at a hotel. The Nine Zero hotel was exceptional in many ways, but the service alone puts it above and beyond many places in my mind. The room wasn't the grandest, but for a boutique city hotel, it was pleasant and nicely...

We stayed for a week a Nine Zero exploring the city of Boston. Situated as it is opposite a stop on the freedom trail, just up from Park Street T station and the Common, one couldn't have a hotel in a better position. The staff were unfailingly helpful and cheery. Our room was spacious, comfortable, with one very good armchair...

Stayed here for a few nights in late April. First thing to note is, as have many have noted, its superb location. $30 from the airport or a metro stop less than 5 minutes walk. The Freedom Trail passes outside the hotel and The Common with its Information centre is also just 5 mins walk away. Good shopping is nearby,...

We loved this property! It was very trendy (not that that tends to matter much to us), right in THE heart of Beacon Hill just a block from the Boston Common and also very romantic rooms. We had a king room with a city view, and the room felt urban and chic, and also boasted fantastic views of the historic...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
