The Nine Zero has done it again. Stayed here for two nights to celebrate my mom's 60th birthday in early December. She was welcomed at the front desk with birthday greetings and then we were shocked to find champagne ready and waiting for us in our room. The staff are all so friendly and helpful - those at the front...

Dear jenkgen, Happy belated birthday to your Mom - although staff is pretty sure it was her 2nd 30th birthday based on her youthful and radiant appearance. I agree that we are probably the beacon of service for London and Chicago - so you definitely made a wise choice. Thank you for returning to us and we can't wait to...

I recently stayed at all three Kimpton hotels in the Boston/Cambridge area in order to achieve the Kimpton Inner Circle status. This one was certainly the best and exceeds the Kimpton standard . The Front Desk Manager Anthony was aware of my achievement and went out of his was to acknowlegde it. The views of Beacon Hill and the Charles...

Dear BTM2010 - INNERCIRCLE!!! Congratulations and thank you so much for your continued loyalty to Kimpton Hotels, not to mention for committing so much of your time to working on the road. You are a tripadvisor in the best sense. I am happy we were able to help you indulge one more time. Hope to see you again on your...

I love Kimpton Hotels and this one doesn't dissappoint. It is in a great location, the staff are really amazing and helpful, and the rooms are really comfortable. Also, they are pet friendly, so you don't have to leave your furry babies behind!

Dear Ann D - We couldn't sleep at night if you had to leave your furry babies behind! And we know you probably can't either. Also - feathery and scaly babies are welcome - we're not specist here. Best, Mark

Location: The location, could not be any better for a visit to Boston. With the Park less then a few minutes away and the subway station as well makes it very convenient for getting around town very quickly. I must add however there are no real street addresses around and finding it can be tough with just a door and...

Dear Spooner 101, Thank you for choosing Nine Zero on your visit to Boston. Happily - we reached your Hotel Impossible Standards (trademarked Anthony Melchiorri) - but not surprisingly as we expect that level for each guest as the starting point. Boston is beautiful and our location is great but the city is historically "tricky" when it comes to signage...

As with all Kimptons - a fab hotel, most enjoyable. Handy spot in Boston, big room and good bathroom, free wifi for intouch members and even free bike hire! The citrus water in the lobby is a lovely touch also :)

This hotel is truly a Gem! First off, the service in this hotel was exceptional, from the moment you check in, to the moment you check out all of the staff treats you like royalty. Dear Natalie - I'm reading this review and you're right - not disappointed. Thank you so much for staying with us and then taking the time to provide some feedback. And yes, some of our rooms do get service twice a day, as skyline rooms and suites also receive nightly turndown service (don't worry...if you didn't reserve one of those...

This is a beautiful modern hotel right in the heart of Boston. I am Australian, so perhaps I have different expectations. I was delighted with everything..except....the lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room. I need a cup of tea whilst I get ready for the day. I also like a shower cap to keep my hair dry....

Dear snowmomma, I'm still not sure if you modeled your review's format after ee cummings, but it definitely reads like poetry. We have tea AND coffee making apparati available upon request (and nearly anything else you can think of). Same goes for shower caps. Trust me that we can and will take care of you. My business brings me to Boston frequently and I always stay at the Nine Zero. From my first visit and every time after, I have been beyond happy. Stayed here in late November. Hotel is walking distance to great shopping, Fanuil Hall, and the train. Staff is very friendly and the rooms are great - pay for the view side - worth it. Did not use the restaurant during this stay.

Dear jpilat1 - Thank you for stopping by with your friends. Boston's always very accessible (yes, even in Winter) and we're at the center of the Hub. Please make sure you visit Shaher and team in Highball Lounge on your next visit. His cocktails are Dy-no-mite (thank you JJ Walker). Best, Mark

The location for this hotel was ideal for downtown Boston. Felt like you were in walking distance for most things. Check-in experience was exceptionally smooth and quick. As was check-out. They seem very well organised. Limited breakfast menu but tasty nonetheless. Bar was busy on the nights I visited but not my kind of place (I'm a bit more spit-and-sawdust)....

Dear Stephen M, Thank you for choosing Nine Zero on your recent business trip. We have definitely designed the hotel with you in mind (although I guess not the bar - otherwise we would have added more spit and sawdust - luckily we know where to find those for you). Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
